Cirque Lonesome George

Green Wednesday today and I have Cirque Lonesome George to show you today.

Lonesome George is a forest green polish with a holographic effect. It's very beautiful. The holographic effect is quite subtle but visible.
Have you heard the story of Lonesome George? It's actually quite sad. Lonesome George was the last known Pinta Island tortoise. He was the rarest creature in the world. He died in 2012. Can you imagine that? Being the last indiviual of your species. It's so sad and tragic yet beautiful in a really horrid way.
The colour of the polish is perfect for the inspiration and it's a lovely homage.

The polish is scented with lavender oil. Not a favourite of mine and I find the scent a bit intrusive.

The photos are taken in lamp light. The holo effect is much more prominent in sunshine, but since the weather was crap when I wore this I had to phtograph it inside.

The formula is good. Not too thin or too thick. The polish covers in three thin coats. There was still a bit of VNL at two coats. It dires quickly but a bitt matte. Top coat is needed for a shiny finish and it won't affect the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Cirque Lonsome George and one coat of Seche Vite.
