Picture Polish Columbia

Hi sweeties!
Today I'd like to show you Picture Polish Columbia from the Rocky Horror collection. It's been on my wish list since I first saw it and the lovely Martina gave it to me.

Columbia is a red jelly packed with red and pink glitter in different sizes. I layered it over Picture Polish Frank-n-Furter, a gorgeous, almost perfect, red creme.
I love how sparkly Columbia is. The pink glitters give a highlight to it and it has that glow-from-within look.
I'm a huge Rocky Horror fan. I'm not a big fan of musicals but that one I love. It's so weird and wonderful! If you haven't seen it; see it! I think I have to get the other polishes from this collection as well.

The formula was great! It's thin but not runny and so easy to apply. To get full coverage you need three coats, I cheated and layered two coats over a red base.
It dires quickly and the finish becmoes a little gritty so top coat is a must.
What you see int he pictures are two coats of Picture Polish Columbia over one coat of Picture Polish Frank-n-Furter. The top coat I've used is, as always, Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Delush Polish All that Glitters is not Gold

Today I got an order from Edgy Polish. I couldn't keep my hands away from Delush Polish All that Glitters is not Gold and had to try it as soon as I opened the parcel.

All that Glitters is not Gold is a hot pink jelly filled with pink glitter in different shapes and sizes as well as silver, prismatic micro glitter. Delush descirbes this as a neon pink, but I think it's a little bit too muted to be a neon.
It's a grogeous pink! I'm not a big fan of pink but this is really pretty. It's cute but not in that babydoll way. I really, really like it.
Tis is my first encounter with Delush Polish. The brand has a lot of really bautiful polishes but I never ordered one until now. I'm really happy I did.

The formula good. It's a little bit on the thin side, but it's easy to apply. Three coats give full coverage. The finish becomes a little bit matte and rough. I needed two coats of top coat to make it shiny and smooth.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Delush Polish All that Glitters is not Gold, one coat of Pretty Serious Aqau Coat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Lilypad Lacquer Cartjacked

Hello darlings! It's Blue Monday and I'll show you Lilypad Lacquer Cartjacked today.

Cartjacked is a blue holo with blue and prismatic glitter. It's gorgeous! I love that there's so much going on without being overwhelming. I really like the sparly effect the glitter adds. It's not very visible in my photos but it's really amazing in real life. When I wore this I kept staring at my nails all the time. It's so pretty and a perfect shade of blue.

The formula is great. The opacity is really good. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes smooth even though there's a lot of glitter. I only needed one coat of top coat to make the finish completely smooth and shiny.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Lilypad Lacquer Cartjacked and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Safety Dance

Hi sweeties! Today I have another Smitten Polish to show you. This is Saftey Dance from the 2014 Summer Collection

Saftey Dance is a bright orange with a pink shine to it. To top the amazing colour off it also has a gorgeous holographic effect. It's so pretty!
Saftey Dance by Men Without Hats is one of my favourite songs and that was the main reason I bought this. Luckily, I loved the colour. It suits my skin tone and is a perfect summer orange.
If you haven't seen the video to Safety Dance you have to watch it. It weird and hilarious and completely briliant!

The formula was amazing. It's a little bit sheer but three coats give full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. The holo isn't affected by top coat. Speaking of top coat, I'll give you a review of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat soon since a few of you have been asking for one.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish  Saftey Dance and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat

Smitten Polish Love Actually Is All Around

Hi! Today I have another Holiday Polish that I didn't have time to show you before Christmas. This is Smitten Polish Love Actually Is All Around from 2013's holiday collection which was inspired by Love Actually. Love Actually is one of my favourite movies, I love it.

Love Actually is All Around is a Christmas red holo and it's absolutely gorgeous. This is one of my favourite reds from Smitten. I love it even more when I know that it's inspired by Love Actually. This is one of those polishes that I always come back to. I have a few of those. Whenever I don't know what polish to use I tend to use either this or maybe three or four others. Do you also have those go-to polishes?

The formula is good. It's a little bit sheer but three coats gave full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. Top coat will not dull the holo.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish Love Actually is All Around and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

OPI Snow Globetrotter

Hi guys! Today I have OPI Snow Globetrotter to show you. It's another polish from the OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday 2014 Collection.

Snow Globetrotter is a glitter topper with white and iridescent glitter in different shapes and sizes.
It's so pretty! And the name is really cute.  I layered it over a black creme to really show off the different colours of the iridescent glitters and make them pop. The black is also a nice contrast against the white glitters. It looks a little like a midwinter night sky, don't you think?

I've layered this over lighter base colours as well. It looks particularly good over a pale blue base, almost ethereal. I promise you that I'll show Snow Globetrotter that way soon.

The formula is alright. The glitter dispersal is very sparse due to the heavy clear base. You get a lot of clear base on the brush and not a lot of glitter. It's also difficult to get the larger glitters on to the brush. You definitely need to fish for them. I don't mind fishing for glitters though, I actually find it therapeutic. However, the finish dries quite smooth and you don't need lots of top coat to make the finish smooth and glossy, for me one coat of TC was enough.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of OPI Lady in Black, two coats of OPI Snow Globetrotter and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Colors by Llarowe Good Golly Miss Molly

Hello darlings! I know I've been absent for the past few weeks. I had a major essay to do in school, applied for a job which I'll hopefully get and then the Holidays came up. So instead of writing rushed posts I decided not to blog at all until I had the time again.  Now that school is finally less hectic I have that extra time to write good posts.

So let's start the new year with Colors by Llarowe Good Golly Miss Molly.

Good Golly Miss Molly is a purple leaning magenta with a strong holographic effect.  Isn't it beautiful? It's one of my favourite CbL's. It similar to Dirty Diana but Good Golly Miss Nolly is a tad darker, a tad more magenta and a lot more vampy.
I try to keep my nails fairly short right now since the dry, cold, Swedish winter makes them break otherwise. I really, really like this on my nails.

The formula is good. It's on the thicker side but it's easy to apply. I used two coats for this mani but I could've gotten away with one. It's super pigmented.  It dries quickly and shine. The holo effect isn't dulled by top coat.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Goid Golly Miss Molly and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
