Glam Polish Hopelessly Devoted

Glam Polish has quickly risen to be one of my favourite brands. The Aussies know how to make polish! today I'll show you Hopelessly Devoted.

Hopelessly Devoted is a coral pink, almost neon, holographic polish with golden flakes or micro shimmer. The holographic effect is subtle and scattered but still adds depth and a whole lot of gorgeous to the polish. It's part of the Rydell High Collection which is a limited collector's collection. Of course it's inspired by Grease.
I love wearing these type of coral shades in the ssummer. What makes this polish unique is that it's basically neon. Some might call it neon, but I don't. I find it a bit too muted to be a neon. it's bright but not that bright. it's gorgeous though. I'll definitely wear this a lot this summer.

Glam Polish has some of the best formulas around. I still havent tried one where the formula is less than good. The formula of Hopelessly Devoted is amazing! It almost applies itself! Two coats gave full coverage. It dries very quickly but the finish becomes matte. Top coat makes it supershiny and really brings out the shimmer. The holo effect isn't affected by TC.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish Hopelessly Devoted and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Himalayan Blue Poppy

It should be Blue Monday but Tove is on vacation! I haven't participated in forever. and now when I finally can, there is no official Blue Monday. I'm going to show you a blue anyway! The polish I'll show you today is Smitten Polish Himalayan Blue Poppy.

Himalayan Blue Poppy is sky blue creme polish with a subtle holo graphic effect. It was released with Smitten Polish Showers an Flowers Spring 2014 Collection. Isn't this a beauty? It screams spring and summer to me. The colour suits my skin tone really well. It actually looks like I have a tan!
I love the subtle holo effect. It gives the polish so much more depth and makes it so much more interesting. it's just stunning.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

And about my nails. They're way too long. I don't know what happened. They grow so freaking fast. And I don't have a nail file. I've accidentally broken all of mine. So bear with me, I will go and buy a new file and shorten my nails a little bit.

The formula is good. The polish applies easily and it's self leveling. Two coats gave full coverage. The polish dries quickly and shiny, but becomea a bit shinier with TC. TC will not dull the holo effect.
What you see in the picture are two cots of Smitten Polish Himalayan Blue Poppy and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Emily de Molly Scarlet's Red

I'm so sorry for not being able to update! I'm so busy with work that I just haven't had the time.  This is the first time since my last post that I've actually been able to take the time to write a post. I'll try to write another post this week, but I can't promise anything.

Anyway. Today I'v got a real treat for you. Emily de Molly Scarlet's Red.

Scarlet's Red is a pink-ish red jelly with red, hot pink and iridescent glitters in different shapes and sizes.
This is gorgeous! I've forgotten how much I love Emily de Molly. I haven't worn one in forever. I definitely need to try my untried EdM's. I have a lot of untried glitters. I love EdM's glitters. They are so well put together. Just like this one. There's a lot going on in Scarlet's Red but it's not too much. It's just beautiful.

The formula is good. It's actually quite thin, especially for being a glitter. There's no need to dab the glitter around to make it spread evenly, which is nice. It looks very translucent on the brush but covers in two thin coats. The finish becomes shiny but very rough because of all the glitter.
A small warning though, this polish stains a bit. I used one coat of the base coat Essie Nourish Me for this mani. I left the mani on for two days and when I removed the polish there was a light orange tint to my nails.

Colors by Llarowe Courage, Brains, Heart

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend. I've been relaxing and just tried to soak up every ounce of good energy around me. The nice weather makes me so happy! Today I'll show you a polish that has had a crazy hype around it, Colors by Llarowe Courage, Brains, Heart.

Courage, Brains, Heart is a magenta holo. The polish was one of the polishes from the Llarowe exclusive box A Box, Indied! It was part of April's all holo box. I think this box was the mot anticipated box yet. This paticular polish was the most anticipated from the box and the most hyped. CBH is on of those polishes that truly lives up to its hype. It's gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! I love the violet flash to it that comes from the beautiful linear holo effect. I've got lots of magenta holos in my stash but nothing that is quite as gorgeous as this one. It's definitely unique! I've actually worn it for the last four days.
The photos are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is a dream. Slighty thinner than most CbL's, they are usually quite thick, but it still applies like butter. No clean up needed, whatsoever. On the other hand, I only clean up my cuticles, if necessary, when I do nail art. Two glorious coats gave full coverage. the polish dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. The holo effect is not affected by top coat.

ILNP Masquerade

Long time, no write.I had a lovely holiday in Malta. I did nothing but hang on the beach and dive. The waters there are crystal clear! When I got home I started my summer job. I haven't really had time to do anything else than that. This is the first time in two weeks that I've actually had the time to sit down and blog.
The polish I'm showing you today is ILNP Masquerade.

Masquerade is a multichromatic polish that shifts from green, gold, red and purple. The two most prominent colours are green and purple but the others can be seen at most times.
This is gorgeous. I love mutlichromes. I think it's so fun with the colour shifts. It's like four polishes in one. Love it. With that said. I like this polish. A lot. But I think ILNP has many other, even prettier multichromes, for example Siren, Peace and Nostalgia

The formula is good. It's a bit tricky to apply. it's one of those polishes where brush strokes are super visible in the finish. if your quick and don't drag the plish arounf to much on the nails there should be less bruh strokes visible.  Otherwise the formula is good. Three thin coats give full coverage and the polish dries quickly. The finish becomes shiny.
What you see in the ictures are three coats of ILNP Masquerade and one coat of Pretty Serious Crustal Coat.
