Femme Fatale Witchful Thinking was sent to me for review purposes.
So, what about a Halloween polish during Christmas? I think that sounds perfect since it's actually very Christmas-like. I'd like to show you Femme Fatale Witchful Thinking.
This polish was actually sent to me for reviewng purposes, but what Sophie-Anne, one of the creators of the brand didn't know, was that I actually already had bought a full siza bottle of this polish earlier. I happen to think it's perfect that I got this in a sample bottle as well, since it happens to be beautiful!
Witchful Thinking has a base filled with iridiscent blue shimmer, silver and gunmetal hexes, holograpic glitter as well as stars and some other shapes. It's gorgeous and fun. It's part of Femme Fatales Halloween Trio for 2013. And even though it is a Halloween polish the stars makes it perfect fr an edgier Chritmas look.
The pictures are a couple of months old, so thats why my nails are a bit shorter than they are now.
The formula is alright. A bit thick, but there was no need for thinner. It applied rather easily and the glitter spread evenly on the nail. I applied two coats over a gray shimmer. This polish is a layering polish, in my opinion, and it's not to be worn on its own. It dried quickly but the finish became a bit dull and rough. A little top coat made the finish smooth and shiny.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of China Glaze Elephant Walk, two coats of Femme fatale Witchful Thinking and two coats of Seche Vite.
