Colors by Llarowe Olivia

Hi guys! It's been quite here for a while now. That's because I'm in New York City! I'm visiting my best friend who lives in Washington DC and we decided to go on holiday in NYC. It's been absolutely amazing so far. Except for a horrible jetlag, that I'm now cured from.
Today I'm showing you Colors by Llarowe Olivia.

Olivia is an olive green with a touch of gold and a lot of holo. The holographic effect is linear and very strong. Much stronger in real life than in my photos. It's a beautiful polish. Perfect for the fall! I actually bought this for the name. Olivia is my middle name, so I couldn't help myself!  I'm so glad that I bought it though. It's gorgeous.

The formula is flawless. It goes on super smoothly and evenly. Two coats give full coverage and they dry quickly. The finish evokes smooth and shiny. Topcoat will not affect the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Olivia and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

China Glaze Dorothy Who?

Hi lovelies! It's been silent here on th eblog for a few days. The reason? My computer is completely broken. I have to get it fixed ASAP. I'm uploading  pictures to my boyfriend's computer instead. I'm really going to try to still get a good quality to the pictures.
Anyway, today I'm showing you another favourite from China Glaze, Dorothy Who?

Dorothy Who? is a blue jelly packed with silver and blue micro glitter. It's similar to China Glaze Skyscraper but not as dark. Dorothy Who? is a more of a cobalt, brighter shade if blue. I love this shade of blue, it's very pretty. It's extremely sparkly and sparkles are always amazing. I just love it!

The formula is great. It's a jelly so it's a bit sheer. I was perfectly happy with the coverage after three coats. There was still some VNL but nothing that bothered me. The VNL shows much more in the pictures than in real life. It dries quickly and the finish becomes fairly smooth considering the amount of glitter. Top coat makes the finish very shiny and smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of China Glaze Dorothy Who? and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Adeste Fidelis

Hi guys! I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I'm going to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Norrköping today. I'm super excited. The polish I'll show you today is Smitten Polish Adeste Fidelis. I wore this yesterday. Today I'm wearing a Harry Potter mani that you'll probably get to see tomorrow.

Adeste Fidelis is a white jelly with pink and mint green glitter in different sizes and golden micro glitter.
I know, I know. It's definitely the wrong season to wear Adeste Fidelis. It's a Christmas polish, but it's so apprpriate for summer. Just look at it! It's almost ethereal. This is the type of milky polish that I actually like. I've owned a few but I've never really liked any of them except maybe one or two. This one is definitely one that I like.

The formula was good. The glitter spreads evenly and they don't form clusters. It covers in three thin coats. There was a little VNL left after three coats but it didn't bother me. The polish dries quickly with fast drying top coat. The finish becomes a little rough without top coat, but still shiny.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish Adeste Fidelis and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Emily de Molly Absent Minded

Hello lovelies!
Today I have Emily de Molly Absent Minded to show you.

Absent Minded is a purple jelly filled with glitter in different colours, shapes and sizes. It's gorgeous. The jelly's looks like an eggplant shade of purple in certain lights and a lighter purple in others. Even though the jelly's so dark the glitter is in no way hidden in the base. The glitters peek through beautifully through it. Almost like shining gemstones. I still feel that it's a bit early for colours this dark but I'll definitely wear this again in the fall. It'll be a stunner!
As you might notice, I've finally bought a new nail file and shortened my nails to a better lenght!

The formula is great on this. It's so easy to apply and the glitter spreads evenly on the nail. They do not form clusters. The finish becomes rough but it's still quite shiny. Top coat does the job and makes the finish smooth and glossy. The polish covers in three thin coats.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Emily de Molly Absent Minded, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food Topcoat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Radiant Orchid

Hi fellow polish lovers. Today I have Smitten Polish Radiant Orchid to show you.

Radiant Orchid is a dark orchid purple with a linear holo effect. Noelie is a true wizard. An actual wizard, I tell you. Yu can't seriously make a polish this gorgeous without a little magic. This will definitely make my top 20 this year. It's probably one of the most stunning purples I've ever seen. It's just amazing. I really don't know what else to say about it. The colour is beautiful and the holographic effect is, as the name suggests, radiant!
A perfect orchid holo!

The formula is impeccable. Three thin coats give full coerage. As most of Smitten's holos this one is alo a little sheer. But it doesn't bother me since three coats aren't really that many. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. Top coat won't affect the holo.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish Radiant Orchid and one coat of  Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Colors by Llarowe Final Fantasy

Hello lovelies!

Today I have Colors by Llarowe Final Fantasy to show you. Yes, I mainly bought it because the name. that it's gorgeous is just  bonus.

Final Fantasy is a grey holographic polish with a red shimmer. It's truly stunning! My camera couldn't really capture the red glow of the shimmer but you can still see it, though not as strong in real life.
I thonk this is such a classy shade. Not your average holo. Yes, it's similar to Lilypad Lacquer Red Pearl but I think the shimmer in this one is a bit more orange tinted.
The holo is a little subtle but still very visible. It's gorgeous.

The formula is amazing. Just like most CbL's. It covers in two coats and dries very quickly. The finish becomes shiny and smooth. Top coat won't affect the holo.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Final Fantasy and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Glam Polish Conjuring

It's Green Wednesday! I'd like to show you Glam Polish Conjuring today. As you might know by now, Glam Polish is a favourite brand of mine.

Conjuring is a green jelly packed with green micro glitter and larger green glitter, both prismatic and your usual shiny glitter. This is gorgeous! It's like crushed emeralds on your nails. It screams out Christmas to me. But who cares, a green glitter is perfect for every occasion.
Unfortunately the sun wasn't out so I couldn't capture the tunning prismatic effect. I'll definitely show you this again with pictures taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is good. It's easy to apply and the glitter spreads evenly on the nail. It covers in three thin coats. it dries down to a smooth but quite matte finish. The finish definitely needs top coat to become shiny.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Glam Polish Conjuring and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

China Glaze Skyscraper

Hi! It's Blue Monday today! It was such a long time ago since I participated that I just had to today. I'm showing you China Glaze Skyscraper.

Skyscraper is a dark blue jelly with silver glitter. It's a favourite from China Glaze. I like it so much that I actually have a back up of it! I love how the glitters peek through the dark blu base. It makes it look like the polish contains both blue and silver glitter. It looks like the perfect midwinter night sky. Absolutely gorgeous!

The formula is good. It's not too thin and not too thick. Just somewhere in between. It's a bit sheer. It covers in three coats, probably in two if your nails aren't as crazy long a mine are right now. No, I still haven't bought a new glass file...
The polish dries quickly and the finish becomes rather rough but quite shiny. Top coat is needed to get that super smooth glass looking finish.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of China Glaze Skyscraper and one coat of Prettu Serious Crystal Coat.
