Emily de Molly High Distinction

I've been buy, busy, busy this week. My internship goes fantastic and it's so much fun, everyone's nice and I have the most gorgeous time, even though it is tough. I'm studying to become a social worker an I get to hear a lot of really horrible stories, but it's very intresting to get to know how to work with the circumstances these people are living under. I have a lot to think about and lots to process so that's why the blog isn't updated a much as before. When my internship ends in the middle of January and I'll go back to school things will be more normal here at Nail Lacquer Love and I'll post daily again. Right now I can't do that since I have so much else on my mind. I really hope all of you understand that. I also want to say that I still paint my nails, almost daily and always photograph every manicure, so when everything gets back to normal here I've got lots of fun to show you. I hope you are as excited about that as I am.

So, a little gold to spice up this gray, rainy Thursday. Today I'd like to show you Emily de Molly High Distinction.

High Distinction is a pale gold polish with a holographic effect. It's not a Chritmas polish, but I do think it has a little Holiday spirit to it. It' probably the golden colour and the sparkly holo effect. Gold is truly a Holiday hue for me. I love golden ornaments during Christmas.

The polish itself is absoutely stunnig, but it doesn't suit my skin tone very well. The polish is nice but I will not wear it again on it's own, even though I've worn it for three days now.

The formula is like butter! The polish practically applies itself. It does need three coats, because it is a bit sheer, but if you have shorter nails than mine you could most likely get away with just two coats.
It dries quickly and shiny. Top coat will not affect the holographic effect.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Emily de Molly High Distinction and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.
