Deborah Lippmann Va Va Voom

I feel so dumb. The scheduled posts I promised you for this weekend, well I forgot to schedule them. I hope I can make it up to you today by showing you a few different polishes. First up is Deborah Lippmann Va Va Voom.

Va Va Voom is a transclusent blue jelly with blue prismatic hex glitters. This is so gorgeous! It's from the collection Jewel Heist that was released this autumn.
It can cover on its own but I layered it over an inky shimmer. I love how the prismatic effect plays over the nails. It's sort of slow, if you understand how I mean. Not that crazy type of prismatic glitter, it's much calmer yet super sparkly. I really do love it!
The depth of the polish is beautiful and I think it really shows when layered like this.

The formula was a bit tricky. It's a bit thick and the glitters tend to form clusters. Thin layers give the best result. I layered two (thin) coats over Deborah Lippmann Rollin' in the Deep. It dried quickly but a bit matte and rough. Top coat made the finish shiny and smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Deborah Lippmann Rollin' in the Deep, two coats of Va Va Voom, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and two coats of China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.
