Sparkly Blue Grapes (Reversed Gradient)

That break I had from all things sparkly, it didn't last very long. Two hours and 3 minutes to be exact. I love all things sparkly so I just couldn't leave my nails without it.
Barry M Blue Grape, which I showed you yesterday is a gorgeous electric blue crelly. It's wonderful to wear on it's own but I amped it up with a little bit of blue glitter. Perfect for Blue Monday as well. Check out Tove's lovely blog for more blue manis today.

So, back to my mani. It's blue, it's sparky and it's a reversed gradient. you who have followed me for a while know that I love reversed gradients. It's much more interesting and a lot prettier, in my opinion, tha the usual gradient that starts from the tips. The polishes I've used for this gradient are Barry M Blue Grape and Smitten Polish Pure Imagination. Pure Imagination is one of my favourite Smitten's. The formula is great, the colour's amazing and it has the right amount of sparkle. Unfortunately it's discontinued.

I've used two coats of Barry M Blue Grape as the base colour on all nails, then I've dragged out a dot of Pure Imagination to create the reversed gradient. I finished the mani with two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
