Colors by Llarowe Connie's Saucy Brother

Hi!

Today I'll show you Colors by Llarowe Connie's saucy Brother from the limited edition collection The Mysterious Vanishing Pigments.

Connie's Saucy Brother is a very complex shade. It's really difficult to describe. It's a grey-ish blue jelly base with fuschia shimmer and colour shifting shimmer. The colour shifting shimmer shifts from blue to copper to green. The greeen can only be seen in extreme angles though.
It's absolutely amazing. The complexity of it does it all. It's sparkly and shimmery. In some lightings it looks blurple and in others it looks like five polishes in one.

The pictures are taken in indirect sunlight.

The formula is good. Three coats give full coverage. It dries farly quickly and becomes quite shiny. If you want it super ossy one coat of top coat is enough.

What you see in the pitures are three coats of Colors by Llarowe Connie's Saucy Brother and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Skittlette

Hi guys!

I'll start my new internship tomorrow, so for obvious reasons I have to have amazing nails tomorrow. I love how this skittlette turned out. I've worn a lot of colour on my nails the past few weeks so I wanted something a little more neutral but still fun.

The polishes I've used for this manicure are OPI Lady in Black, OPI You're So Vain-illa, Cirque Sample and Mentality Black Opaque.
I painted my thumb, middle and ring finger with OPI You're So Vain-illa. I then stamped my thumb and ring finger nails with Mentality Black Opaque using the Creative Shop Stamper and a stamping plate from Konad. I added two coats of Cirque Sample, a gorgeous pae gold glitter from one of International Playground's Cirque sample sales, on my middle finger nail. I painted two coats of OPI Lady in Black on my index and pinky.

Smitten Polish Ghost of Christmas

Hi guys!

Today I have yet another post that was supposed to be published before Christmas but somehow got stuck in my blogger archive.
This is Smitten Polish Ghost of Christmas.

Ghost of Christmas is a blackened plum jelly with burgundy microglitter. It's stunning. The dark base makes the lighter coloured glitter pop. They look like glowing gemstones in the dark base.
This is a perfect purple for Christmas. It's vampy, sexy and sparkly.

The pictures are taken in indirect sunlight.

The formula is great. It covers in two coats. The finish becomes quite gritty due to the large amount of glitter. Top coat is a must if you want it smooth and shiny.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Smitten Polish Ghost of Christmas, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Lilypad Lacquer Pugsley

 Hello Darlings!

Today I'll show you Lilypad Lacquer Pugsley from the Pshiit exclusive The Addams Family Collection.

Pugsley is a blackened plum purple with tiny silver flakes and a holo effect. It's so gorgeous. It has lots of depth, it's vampy and really beautiful.
In direct sunlight it has a strong holo effect and in the shade you can see the pretty silver flakes.
I only own this from the exclusive Addams Family Collections but judging from swatches I need the other ones as well. They all look amazing. I'm a gigantic fan of the Addams family. They're so wonderfully wierd, spooky and melancholic, just as this collection seems to be.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing. One coat is enough for full coverage but I did two coats for extra depth and sparkle. It dries quickly and the finish becomes very shiny.

What you see inte pictures are two coats of Lilypad Lacquer Pugsley and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Colors by Llarowe The Man in the Red Suit

Throwback Thursday! Let's revisit Christmas 2013 with Colors by Llarowe The Man in the Red Suit.

The Man in the Red Suit is pink leaning red holo. It's gorgeous. It's such a pretty red colour. I really like that it leans a little pink, that makes it wearable during all seasons of the year. I especially love wearing pink leaning reds during summer. It's a little more fun and flirty than a more blue toned red.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. It applies like butter. Two thin coats give full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe The Man in the Red Suit and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Lizzard Nail Art

 Hi sweeties!

It's Green Wednesday today and I've got nail art to show you. Yesterday my Creative Shop Stamper arrived from Rainbow Connection. I wanted it for forever and bought it last week. I had to try it immidietely. It's just as good as people say it is. It's huge, squishy and picks up the pattern without much fuss.

For today I did a green gradient with Colors by Llarowe Seahawk Lime, Colors by Llarowe Jo Jo and Colors by Llarowe Gizzards & Lizzards using the dry brush technique. Then I stamped the gradient using A England Camelot and the stamping plate BM-313 from Bundle Monster.

I love how this turned out. I've wanted do some type of lizzard/dragon nails for a long time. This pattern was perfect for it.
The Creative Shop Stamper did need some prep before using it but not nearly as much as my Konad stamper.

Pastel Nail Art

Hi guys!

Today I'll show you a quick nail art I did using striping tape. I love striping tape, it's so easy to use.
I wanted to do nail art with a few spring colours so I used bright pastel cremes and a little glitter for an extra element. The polishes I've used are Barry M Prickly Pear, Isadora Baby Blue, Isadora Rosette and Glam Polish Bibbidi  Bobbidi Boo. For the white base I used OPI Alpine Snow.

I'm really pleased with how this turned out. I love the look of it. The glitter goes so well with the other colours.

Colors by Llarowe Rest in Pieces

Hello!
Today I'll show you Colors by Llarowe Rest in Pieces from the New Year, New Cbls Collection.

Rest in Pieces is a blurple holo with royal blue micro glitter. It's a tad more purple in real life than in my pictures. My camera wanted to pick up the blue tones more than the purple ones.
This is an absolute stunner! I love when a polish has both glitters and a holographic effect. The glitter adds depth and extra sparkle to gorgeous holo.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. It's thick but not gloopy. It super pigmented but I did two coats for this mani to add some more depth even though one coat would be enough. It dries quickly and the finish becomes fairly shiny. For extra shine use top coat.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Rest in Pieces and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

ILNP Bikini Bottoms

Hi darlings!
Today I'll show you ILNP Bikini Bottoms. As you can probably see these pictures are taken a few months ago.

Bikini Bottoms is a magenta pink holographic with a slight red tone to it.. It's really vibrant! My camera had a hard time picking up the colour so it looks a little bit muted in my picture. I promise you, this is not a muted colour at all! It's the prefect summer pink.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. Two coats give full coverage. It dries quickly but a little matt. If you eant it super shiny you need top coat.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of ILNP Bikini Bottoms and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

OPI Orange You Fantastic

Hi!

Today I'm going to show you a OPI Orange You Fantastic from the Icons of Happiness Collection. And yes, this is another one of those unpublished archive posts. I think these pictures are from the beginning of October. That was perhaps a more appropriate time to show this mani...

Orange You Fantastic is a glitter topper with gold and orange glitter in different shapes and sizes. This is a beautiful autumn polish, it looks like autumn leaves. It's so pretty. I really like orange polishes but I don't own many orange glitters. This is definitely a nice addition to the collection.

The pictures are taken in indirect sunlight.

The formula was good, The glitter dispersal was really good. I wouldn't use this on its own though so for this mani I layered two thin coats over an orange holo. It dries quickly and you need top coat to make the finish shiny.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Smitten Polish Saftey Dance, two coats of OPI Orange You Fantastic, one coat of Pretty Serious Aqua Coat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
