Darling Diva Polish Little Red Corvette

Once again I'm showing you a polish that's been in my stash for at least six months. This is Darling Diva Little Red Corvette. I've seen lots of gorgeous swatches of this that I've been afraid that I'll be disappointed when I try it on. I'll just start of by sayoing there's nothing disappointing at all with this polish. 

Little Red Corvette is a red jelly packed with red and prismatic glitter. It looks like glistening rubies on the nails. It's amazingly gorgeous. Just stunning!
I can't believe I once again waited for so long to wear such a beautiful polish. Shame on me. This should be worn often. And by everyone. Paint the world red with Little Red Corvette, that's how much I love this. I have definitely found my new red favourite.
Unfortunately I can't show pictures of the polish in the sun since the sun is still hiding behind lots and lots of snowfilled clouds. what I can show you though are pictures taken in daylight and in lamp llight to just give you the idea of how much this sparkles. Though a fair warning, the picture taken in lamp light aren't very colour accurate, the once in daylight are.

The formula is good. A little thick but that's to expect when a polish is this packed with glitter. It's still easy to apply and the glitter spreads evenly on the nail. Three thin coats gave full coverage. As to also expect this polish dries to a gritty finish. A little top coat makes the finish smooth and shiny.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Darling Diva Little Red Corvette, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

Darling Diva A Christmas Story

I've been absent during most of the Holidays. So I'd like to start this post wishing all of my readers a Happy New Year and a lovely 2014.
My time off from the blog has been good. I've spent time with my family, friends and boyfriend.

The Holidays are over, but I still have Holiday polishes to show you. This particular polish has been in my stash for about a year, but I didn't wear it until a couple of weeks ago. Today I'm showing you Darling Diva A Christmas Story.

A Christmas Story is a clear base glitter polish with red, green and prismatic micro glitter. It's gorgeous. Probably my favourite Darling Diva and one of my favourite polishes ever. I love the sparkle from the prismatic glitter and how you can't really tell if the polish is red or green beacuse of how fine the micro glitter is. A lovely, lovely holiday hue, though I'd wear this anyday all year round. I just love it.

The formula is impeccable. The glitter spreads evenly and smoothly on the nail. I layered on coat over a green creme. I've also seen this layered over red cremes, black, white and gold. It looks amazing over all of them! It fries quickly but a bit matte, so top coat is a must.

Darling Diva Seriously Serious

Another archive post. These pictures have been unpublished since May. I definitely have to get better at posting my pst right away instead of waiting almost six months. I'd like to show you Darling Diva Polish Seriously Serious.

Seriously Serious is a glitter polish with purple, green and prismatic micro glitter. It's absolutely gorgeous! I wore it over a purple base because I wasn't sure it cold be opaque on its own.
I'm not very pleased with the pictures but they show the prismatic effect well. The pictures are taken in direct sun light.

The formula was good. I wore two coats over a purple base, but I think the polish can cover on its own. The glitter pay off is good. the polish dries quickly but a bit matte and rough.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of OPI Vant to Bite My Neck?, two coats of Darling Diva Seriously Serious, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Seche Vite.
 

Darling Diva Leprechaun´s Gold

Grön Onsdag hos Karin och jag är visar upp Darling Diva  Leprechaun's Gold. Den har stått otestad alldeles för länge.

Leprechaun's Gold är ett grönt glitterlack med grönt, guld, blått och prismatiskt glitter i en genomskinlig bas. Hur vackert som helst. Jag förstår inte varför jag inte använt det här tidigare. Jag älskar ju den här typen av glitter och grönt är ju min grej. Jaja, jag tycker alltid de vackraste lacken står otestade för länge.
Bilderna gör verkligen inte lacket rättvisa. Min kamera ballade ur totalt av hur glittrigt det är så det prismatiska glittret ville inte fastna på bild.

Formulan är okej. Lite tjockt men det beror på allt glitter. Jag har lagt två lager över ett grönt krämlack, men jag kan tänka mig att det täcker på tre-fyra lager på egen hand. Det torkar snabbt, matt och lite kornigt, så överlack är ett måste.
Det ni ser på bilderna är två lager China Glaze Holly-Day, två lager Darling Diva Leprechaun's Gold och två lager Seche Vite.

Leprechaun's Gold is a green glitter polih with green, gold, blue and prismatic glitter in a clear base. It's lovely! I love these types of glitters and green is one of my favourite colours.
The formula is okay. It's a bit too thick, beacuse of all the glitter. I've layered two coats over a green creme, but I think three coats will suffice if worn on its own. It dries quickly, matte and rough so top coat is a must.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of China Glaze Holly-Day, two coats of Darling Diva Leprechaun's Gold and two coats of Seche Vite.

Haul!

Igår fick jag hem massor av lack. Det kom paket från Beauty Planet, Oopsie Daisies, Smitten Polish, Darling Diva och från en säljare på ebay. Hela 19 lack totalt. Ni har redan sett OPI Pepe's Purple Passion, så den tänker jag inte visa upp i de här inlägget, men de andra 18 lacken får ni flaskbilder på. Jag är nu stolt ägare till hela OPI's The Muppets kollektion då jag äntligen skaffat de resterande lacken som jag inte ägde och så skaffade jag en del back up flaskor för några av lacken.
Om det är något du vill se som manikyr så säg till så ska jag få ut inlägg om det/de så fort jag hinner.

Darling Diva Walk on the Ocean

 

Idag är det Blå Måndag hos Linda. Jag är med som vanligt och visar upp Darling Diva Walk on the Ocean. Ett lack som i flaskan är fantastiskt fint, men på nageln bara är okej. Walk on the Ocean är ett glitterlack med prismtatiskt glitter i blått, grönt och guld samt stora, blå hexagoner. Det finns också nästan genomskinliga gulgröna glitter. Alltihop i en genomskinlig bas. 

 

Som det ibland, eller ganska ofta, händer när det är stora glitter med i leken så blir formulan tjock och klistrig för att orka hålla upp glittret i basen så att det inte sjunker till botten. Dessutom hakar glittret fast i varandra och man får dutta på det på nageln. Det gör att lagret blir väldigt tjockt. Jag valde nämligen att bara lägga ett lager av Walk on the Ocean över två lager OPI Can't Find My Czechbook. Det torkar sakta men glansigt. 

Det är synd att formulan är så tråkigt när det ändå är ett fint lack.

Translation: It's Blue Monday and you can find more participants at nailorama. I'm showing you Darling Diva Walk on the Ocean. It's polish that looks goregous in the bottle but only okay on the nail. It's a glitter with blue, gold and green prismatic glitter and there's some larger blue hex glitters too. There's also a few almost see through green glitters. All this suspended in a clear base. 

As it sometimes, or quite often, happens when larger glitters are in the mix the formula becomes thick and sticky to be bale to hold up the glitter in the bottle. When applied the glitters stick to each other and they have to be dabbed on to the nail. That makes the layers thick. I applied one layer of Walk on the Ocean over two coats of OPI Can't Find My Czechbook. It dries slowly but shiny. It's a shame that the formula is so bad when the polish is pretty.

Det lack som många, nästan hälften hade på sin lista över favoritlack var China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Jag är inte förvånad.
Det andra lacket osm ungefär en tredjedel hade på sin lista av favoriter var OPI Rainbow Connection.
Det tredje lacket, eller ska jag kanske säga tredje lacken för dessa hade lika många personer som favoriter. Hela nio stycken hade Isadora Polar Nights på sin lista över favoriter. Nio personer hade även Glitter Gal Belgian Chocolate som en av sina favoriter.
