Glam Polish POP!

Let's hold on to summer for a few more minutes shall we? I'd like to show you Glam Polish POP! from the collection Knockout Part 2.

POP! is a peachy coral holo with prismatic silver glitter. It's absolutely fabulous.
The thing with corals thoug are that make my skin tone look a bit dirty. I love corals in the bottle but they tend to be only worn once and then they're put in the back of my Helmer and be somewhat forgotten. This is not the case with POP! I'vr actually worn it twice! And yes, it doesn't suit my skin tone very well but it's so pretty. It makes me think of the beach, sun and fruity drinks.
The glitter and holo adds lots of dimension and depth to the already pretty colour, so if you're looking for another coral; look no further.

The pictures are taken in direct suight.

The formula was great. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes skightly textured but top coat smooths it out.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish POP! and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Mentality Drama

Hello darlings!

Today I'll show you Mentality Drama.

Drama is a red toned coral neon with a subtle holographic effect. It's reall pretty and the colour is perfect for summer. I love to wear corals during the summer. I'm extremely pale but in the summer I do get a slight tan. Corals look great then and make my skin look even more tan.
The holo is very subtle. It adds shimmer, sparkle and depth but doesn't create rainbows. It just makes the polish prettier.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is good. Three coats give full coverage. The first coat is rather patchy ad streaky but the second and third coat even it out. It dries quickly and to a semi matte finish. Top coat makes the finish shiny.

Glam Polish New Girl in Town

Hi guys!
Today I'll show you Glam Polish New Girl in Town from the new collection Hairspray.

New Girl in Town is a coral pink holo with tiny pink, silver and peach flakes. It's gorgeous! It makes me  long for spring.
What I really like with Glam Polish is that the holos usually aren't just holos. There's some flakes or glitter (or both) added that make the polish look amazing in every lighting. The flakes in New Girl in Town add depth and make it so much more interesting.

I saw Hairspray back in 2007 or 2008 and I have no memory of it whatsoever. But then again, I'm no fan of musicals. So I can't relate the polishes in this collection to the movie.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing. It's so creamy and goes on like butter. It's almost a one coater, but I needed two coats for full coverage. I do paint very tiny coats, so if you're one of those persons who paint thicker coats you'll probably get away with just one coat. The holo isn't affected by top coat and the finish becomes very shiny even without any TC.

Glam Polish Hopelessly Devoted

Glam Polish has quickly risen to be one of my favourite brands. The Aussies know how to make polish! today I'll show you Hopelessly Devoted.

Hopelessly Devoted is a coral pink, almost neon, holographic polish with golden flakes or micro shimmer. The holographic effect is subtle and scattered but still adds depth and a whole lot of gorgeous to the polish. It's part of the Rydell High Collection which is a limited collector's collection. Of course it's inspired by Grease.
I love wearing these type of coral shades in the ssummer. What makes this polish unique is that it's basically neon. Some might call it neon, but I don't. I find it a bit too muted to be a neon. it's bright but not that bright. it's gorgeous though. I'll definitely wear this a lot this summer.

Glam Polish has some of the best formulas around. I still havent tried one where the formula is less than good. The formula of Hopelessly Devoted is amazing! It almost applies itself! Two coats gave full coverage. It dries very quickly but the finish becomes matte. Top coat makes it supershiny and really brings out the shimmer. The holo effect isn't affected by TC.

Nail Art Sunday: Summer

I can't even remember the last time I joined in on Lelack's Nail Art Sunday. Today's theme is Summer.
I'm actually on a plane right now, on my way to Malta. I'm spending part of my Holiday there and will be back in Sweden in 8 days. It's going to be absolutely wonderful!

This was my Midsummer mani. Midsummer i a huge Holiday in Sweden. It's celebrated everywhere. I grew up in one of the towns that celebrate it the most, maybe it is the town that celebrates Midsummer the most. I think it is.
The nail art is quite simple. I started off with a white base on all nails. Then I added some studs and free handed some flowers. I usually don't free hand anything since I don't thik I'm very good at it. I do like how these fowers turned out, though. Hopefully, you like it too.

The polishes I've used are Butter LONDON Cottonbuds, A England Camelot, Color by Llarowe It's Shocking, Colors by Llarowe Sparkles are a Girls Best Friend, Colors by Llarowe Orange Crush, Colors by Llarowe Woodstock, Colors by Llarowe My Own Private Paradise and Colors by Llarowe Lucy, I'm Home!
I topped it all off with one coat of Pretty Serious Crytal Coat.

Colors by Llarowe Melon Wine

Good morning! I'll spend this weekend with my brothers so I've schedueled this post for you. I have another Colors by Llarowe for you. Today it's Melon Wine. Seriously, if you're getting bored because of all the CbL's please let me know and I'll shw you something else. It's just that this is my favourite brand and I have about 50 untried CbL's.

Melon Wine is a coral pink with blue shimmer. It's such a pretty polish. I can definitely see myself wearing this all summer long. It's such a happy, vibrant colour and the shimmer adds depth to it. This polish is a perfect example that Leah Anne can make more than just amazing holos and glitters. Her shimmer, sheens, and jellies are gorgeous a well.

The formula is good. The polish is on the thicker side, like most CbL's but it's easy to apply and it's totally self leveling. Two coats gave full coverage. It dries quickly but not super shiny. Top coat gives the polish a very glossy look.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Melon Wine and one coat Seche Vite.

China Glaze Not in This Galaxy

Not in This Galaxy är det andra lacket jag provar ur kollektionen.

Ytan blir glansig. Vad ni ser på mina bilder ät två lager Not in This Galaxy och ett lager Seche Vite. Överlacket påverkade inte holoeffekten.

Translation: It's Skimmerskuggans Holo Friday today and I have another China Glaze holo from their new collection Hologlam. Not in This Galaxy is the second polish I try from the collection.
Not in This Galaxy is a peachy coral with a very pretty, very inear holographic effect. I like it alot. The colour is soft and pretty, and while the holo effect isn't the strongest it looks very pretty against the peachy pink.
The formula is good. It's not too thin or too thick and it's very easy to control. The polish applies smoothly and no Aqua Fix/Base is needed. Just like Strap on Your Moonboots there will be some brush strokes in the finish if you're not careful when applying it. Two coats give full coverage and it dries very quickly. The finish is shiny. What you see in my pictures are two coats of Not in This Galaxy and one coat of Seche Vite. The top coat does not affect the holo effect.
