Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight

Hello lovelies! I have a day off today so I'll swatch polish all afternoon. I have a few posts in store for you today as well. We'll start off with Enchanted Polih Afternoon Delight.

Afternoon Delight is a nude holographic polish with an interesting blue shimmer. It's beautiful and the shimmer adds depth and makes it something extra. A little more fun than your normal nude holo.
The first hour I wore this I just wanted to take it off, but since Enchanted Polish is one of my favourite brands I decided to give it a chance and wear it for 24 hours. I did, and I actually love it now. It's a good nude on me even though I didn't think that at first and I like the subtle holo. I will definitely wear this again. I can't wait to wear this in full sun light. The sky is all gray here again. I'd love some sun! The pictures are taken in artificial light.

The formula is impeccable as always when it comes to Enchanted. The application was flawless. It's a one coater, but I used to coats to give it some extra depth. It dries quickly and shiny. The holo effect is not affected by top coat.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight and one coat of Seche Vite.

Colors by Llarowe Bless Your Wicked Little Heart

I think all of you know about my love affair with Colors by Llarowe. It's one of my favourite brands and today I have another beauty to show you, Colors by Llarowe Bless Your Wicked Little Heart.

Bless Your Wicked Little Heart is a deep red jelly packed with red shimmer that looks like it shifts to gold. I'm actually not sure it is shimmer, it might me microglitter as well. It's not super sparkly but it has some more sparkle to it than 'normal' shimmer. It's gorgeous and the depth of the polish is incredible.
The polish was released for Valentine's Day and I think it's perfect for it. It's deep, sexy and a total vamp.

The formula was good. Application was flawless. Three thin coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. The finish became shiny and smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Colors by Llarowe Bless Your Wicked Little Heart and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron

Well, hello there! I've been super busy the last week with school work (uni is wearing me out) but now everything seem to be back to normal. I have time to blog again, yay!
Today I have a polish from a brand I haven't tried before. This is Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron.

Mintberry Macaron is a minty jelly with playful pastel glitter in different shapes and sizes. I love the little star glitter. It's so cute. The polish is very child-like and playful.
Mintberry Macaron is a limited edition though. it was part of the February What's In-die Box that had the theme Bakery Delights. This polish definitely reminds me of macarons. I bake them now and then and the last time I did mintgreen vanilla macarons. They are yummy! The only issue I have with this polish though is that it's so sweet and it screams baby doll. I'm far from that with my Dr Martens and band T-shirt. Right now I don't feel like wearing these super spring-like polishes. Not quite yet. I still want to dwell in dark holos, glitters and shimmers. I'll probably love this polish in the end of March when I really, really start to long for spring.

The formula is good. The polish is easy to apply and the glitter spreads quite evenly on the nail. Three coats gave sufficient coverage but there was still some VNL, which I think is to expect with these type of polishes. It dried quickly though for being a jelly and the finish becomes shiny. It's the first time I try Prettypots Polish and I'm more than pleased!
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Femme Fatale World of Shadows

Femme Fatale World of Shadows was sent to me for review purposes.

Back in December I got the chance to review four polishes for Femme Fatale Cosmetics. The lighting back then was crap and it's still not good, Sweden in the winter. Now the sun stays up to at around 5 PM and the light is a bit brighter. Finally my camera can handle this polish. What I got in store for you today is Femme Fatale World of Shadows.

World of Shadows is an emerald green jelly packed with green, blue and white glitters in different shpes and sizes. It's one of my favourite Femme Fatale's. It's so pretty I actually got the full size botte of this. It's right up my street and I love how the white glitters peek through the dark, green base.

The formula was good. Application was a bit tricky since it's so packed with glitter but nothing a little patience can't handle. Three coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. The finish becomes shiny but rough because of the glitter so top coat is a must!

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Femme Fatale World of Shadows, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Valentine Polish Week: Roses in September

Angelica and Zara are hosting a Valentine's Day Theme Week. I'm not much for Valentine's Day but I do love the nail art that comes with it. So I thought I'd give it a go with a skittlette.

The polishes I've used are Enchanted Polish September, Butter LONDON Cotton Buds and Cirque Galinda. I also used some rose water decals. I've worn them many times and I think I'll have to buy a new sheet of them. The roses are so pretty and easy to apply.

Enchanted Polish September is really super gorgeous. I've had it in my stash for about two weeks but this is the first time I wear it. It's a strawberries-and-milk pink holo that is so feminine, soft and pretty. And it's a one coater! I love it and think it was the perfect choice for this manicure.

Pointer: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013.
Middle: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013.
Ring: Two coats of Butter LONDON Cotton Buds
Pinky: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013 and one coat of Cirque Galinda.

Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime

It's Green Wednesday and I have another polish to show you. This is Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime.

Seahawks Lime is a lime green holographic polish. It's part of Colors by Llarowe Superbowl duos. This one is of course part of the Seahawks duo. From what I know Superbowl isn't really big in Sweden. American football isn't really big here (don't completely bash me if I'm totally wrong). What I do know though is that this is  a gorgeous polish. Both Superbowl sets are gorgeous, but this is definitely my favourite of the four polishes. I just love myself a pretty green. Especially a pretty amazing holoraphic green.
I know I'm showing you lots and lots of CbL's right now, but that is because it's one of my favourite brands.

The formula is a dream. It's applies like butter, totally self leveling and smooth. Two coats gave full coverage and the polish dries quickly. The finish becomes shiny and very holographic. Top coat does not affect the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of COlors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime and one coat of Seche Vite.

Colors by Llarowe Mojito

Let's start Green Wednesday early, shall we? Because I cannot wait to show you this polish. I've wanted it for a really long time and at restocks I kept choosing other polishes over this. A big mistake. When I finally decided to buy it I had to wait almost three weeks for it to arrive. As soon as I got I had to try it on. This is Colors by Llarowe Mojito

Mojito is a mint leaning jade creme polish with a strong linear holographic effect. It's so gorgeous. It's the perfect kind of mint for my skintone. It doesn't make my hand go all lobster on me. I love the colour and the holo. The colour reminds me of spring and summer and my grandmothers Jade figurines. Oh, did I say I love it? Because I do. It seems like everything Leah Anne touches turns to perfection. I don't think I have one CbL that I don't love. The only thing I wish for now is that my nails could grow out a bit faster, still sad I had to file them down, so I can see this polish on my long nails. And for the sun to come out. I want, no need, to see this polish in sunlight!

The formula is, as always, impeccable. Creamy, smooth, applies like butter. I have nothing to complain about. Two coats gave me full coverage. The polish dries quickly, shiny and top coat doesn't affect the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Mojito and once coat of Poshé.

Colors by Llarowe Yo, Cupid, Take a Hike!

Valentine's day is on Friday. I'm not a big Valentine's Day fan. Actually, I'm not a fan at all. It's not that I don't love to get a little extra attention from my boyfriend because God knows I do. It's just that I don't like the thought of having a special day to show that you love someone, because you should show that every day!
I do love Valentine's inspired polishes, or, like this one, Anti-Valentine's polishes. Let's start off Blue Monday with Colors by Llarowe Yo, Cupid, Take a Hike!

Yo, Cupid, Take a Hike! is a royal blue with a teal hue and a strong linear holographic effect. It was only available with Llarowe's February A box, Indied that was released in the end of January.
It's not the most unique polish though. Colors by Llarowe Bronco Blue is extremely similar. it's still gorgeous and I still love it. I'm so glad I got hold of the February box because it sold out fast.
The polish makes a great addition to my CbL collection. I wouldn't want to be without it.

The formula is impeccable. Incredibly easy to apply, it's like butter. Two coats gave me full covergae and it dried quickly and shiny. Top coat does not affect the holographic effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Yo, Cupid Take a Hike and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Va-Va-Voom

A little more than a week off from blogging and I miss it like crazy. It's funny how attached I am to blogging.  I decided to take a little pause to focus on other things, but all I've been doing is miss it and swatch polishes.
So today I'm showing you one of Smitten Polish latest crations which, if I remember correctly, is a Valentine's inspired polish. I might be totally wrong about that though. Let's take a look at Smitten Polish Va-Va-Voom.

Va-Va-Voom is a deep red jelly packed with red and prismatic glitter. Isn't she a beauty? It's so beautiful. The depth is amazing and I love how saturated the red colour is. It's deep, it's dark and utterly sexy. I wore this for a couple of days and didn't want to take it off when it was time for that.

The formula is good. It's easy to apply and the gitter spreads evenly on the nail. Three thin coats gave me ful coverage. The polish dries quickly and the finish becomes rather shiny for being a glitter. Two coats of TC gave me a smooth and super shiny finish.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish Va-Va-Voom and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.
