Glam Polish No Lei-Overs! (LE) Swatches & Review

Hi darlings!

Today I want to show you Glam Polish No Lei-Overs! Collection. It's a gorgeous  six piece collection inspired by the  Hawaiian islands. And yes, it really makes you think of beaches, coconut drinks and palm trees in the sun.

There are four glitters and two holos in this collection. The formulas of all of them are great. The glitters are thick but not too thick and easy to apply. The holos go on so smoothly and levels out perfectly.

I really wish I was at a beach in a tropical paradise. Here in Sweden it seems like fall is already on its way. It's already starting to get colder and darker outside.

All photos are taken in artificial lighting.

Hawaii Kai

Hawaii Kai is a turquoise leaning teal base with blue, turquoise, teal and bright green glitter. This is the Ocean in a bottle. It's absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorites in the collection.
Two coats and top coat.

Lanikai Dreaming

Lanikai Dreaming is pale gold holo with lots and lots of matte pink and white glitter. It's fun, flirty and feminine. Since the base is so neutral this is perfect for both work and a friday night out. The base tones it down while still being really glittery and pretty. The only prolem I had with this one is that even after two coats of top coat the finish was slightly textured.

Hanalei Sunset

Hanalei Sunset is a gorgeous blurple jelly with blue, pink and purple prismatic glitter. It has so much depth. It was super hard to photograph though. This is one of those polishes you really have to see for yourself.

Two coats and top coat

Lei'd in Lahaina

Lei'd in Lahaina is a magenta holo with magenta, pink,  white and even som copper glitter. It sparkles like crazy! Even though there's so much glitter in it one coat of top coat does the trick and makes the finish shiny and smooth.

Two coats and top coat.

Hibiscus Hideaway

Hibiscus Hideaway is an orange toned red holo. In some lightings it leans more orange and in other more red. In some it even leans pinkish red. This is my favourite from the collection. I'm a sucker for vibrant reds and this one is perfection. The holo is strong and adds depth to the aready beautiful colour of the base. And, it doesn't stain (!!!) even though it's so pigmented.

One coat and top coat.

Waikiki Wahine

Waikiki Wahine is a berry pink holo with blue and purple shimmer in it. This is very pretty, but the one I liked the least in the collection. Don't got me wrong, I really like it, it's just that I like the others more.

Glam Polish Forever After - My Picks From the Collection

Hi darlings!

Today I'll show you my picks from Glam Polish new collection called Forever After. The collection contains twelve different colours. The nce I chose to buy were Enchanted Forest, Fairest of Them All, Her Own Kingdom, Someday My Prince Will Come and Slay the Dragon. However, all of the colours are beautiful and I wish I could've bought them all, I settled for these five.

I'll probably buy the rest. Not only because the colours are bright and beautiful but because of the names. I love fairy tales. They're my favorite type of stories.

Enchanted Forest

Enchanted Forest is a bright jade holo with prismatic glitter. The colour is gorgeous. If you want a bright jade this is the one!
Two coats and top coat.

Fairest of Them All

Fairest of Them All is a bright periwinkle holo with prismatic glitter. It's beautiful but incredible hard to photograph. It's slightly brighter and lighter in ral life than in my pictures.
Three coats and top coat.

Her Own Kingdom

Her Own Kingdom is a bright hot pink scattered holo with prismatic glitter. This colour is so summery and vibrant.
Two coats and top coat.

Someday My Prince Will Come

Someday My Prince Will Come is a bright sky blue scattered holo with prismatic glitter. I just love the colour, it's so vibrant!
Three coats and top coat.

Slay the Dragon

Slay the Dragon is a bright lime green leaning neon with a scattered holo and prismatic glitter. This is gorgeous. I love how bright it is, the perfect shade of green for summer.
Two coats and top coat.

The formula on all of these was great. It's thick but it to thick and applies like butter.  There was no need for clean up whatsoever.
Most of the polishes only needed two thin coats for full coverage the exception being Fairest of Them All and Someday My Prince Will Come. They looked slightly streaky at two coats.
The finish becomes semi matte and a tad textured so top coat is needed to make the finish shiny and smooth.

Glam Polish Fleur

Hi!

When What's In-die Box? had a Harry Potter themed box I, of course, had to buy it. As you might now, I'm a huge Potterhead.

Sadly, I was disappointed with most of the polishes in the box. This one was my favourite and the on that got to stay in my collection.Glam Polish Fleur. It's named after the character Fleur Delacour, a witch who goes to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
I assume that the colour is inspired by the Beauxbatons' light blue uniform and I think the colour captures it perfectly.

Fleur is a light grey-ish blue with a subtle, but very pretty, holo effect. I really like that the colour is a bit grey, it makes it glamorous and the holo gives it dimension and depth.

The formula is great. It's so creamy and super easy to apply. There was no need for any clean up. Two thin coats give full coverage.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish Fleur and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Glam Polish Fall'n For You

Hi!

It's winter here in Sweden but I still have some fall polishes to show you. This one is Glam Polish Fall'n For You from 2015's Halloween Trio.

Fall'n For You is a silver holographic base with micrglitter. I can see orange, gold, copper, red and a few pink glitters. It's the perfect fall polish and it's so unique. I don't have anything else like it in my collection. The ilver compliments the orange and they go really well together. I love the combination, it's gorgeous.

The photos are taken in artificial lighting.

The formula is good. Three coats gave full coverage. I think you can use it as a glitter topper as well if you do one coat over another polish. The finish becomes sligtly textured, but that's to expect since there's so much glitter. Two coats of top coat make the finish shiny and smooth.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Glam Polish Fall'n For You, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Glam Polish It's Alive

 Hi darlings!

I had a job interview today. I want the job so badly but I won't know until next week. I have to start looking for jobs now, since I get my bachelor's degree in social work in January. I mean I have a job as a social worker already but my boyfriend and I are moving to his hometwon so I have to get a new job there. Cross you fingers!

Anyway, today I'll show you Glam Polish It's Alive from the Darkly Dreaming Collection.

It's Alive is a green holo with a blue tinge with prismatic glitter and green glass flecks. This one isn't as sparkly as the rest but it's one of my favourites from the collection. And you know me, I love green.
It has depth and shine and even though it isn't as sparkly as the rest of the Darkly Dreaming Collection it still sparkles, a lot.

The photos are taken in artifical lighting. The colour appears slightly darker in my pictures than it is in real life.

The formula is good. I have nothing to complain about. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes a tad textured but a good top coat makes it smooth and shiny. It dries fairly fast.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish It's Alive and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
