Different Dimension Nose So Bright

Hi darlings!

I've been conflicted about showing you this polish and others from Different Dimension. The reason? Bad experience with their customer service. I didn't get all the polishes I ordered from them once and even though I sent several emails and tried to contact them via Facebook they never responded. So the polish I bought,  and they didn't send, I never got. That makes me pissed and I've never bought from them again.

A bad customer service really is the number one thing that makes me never buy anything from a brand again. Luckily most polish brands have lovely customer services. I can't say that about Different Dimension. Which is sad because I really like the few polishes I have from them. 

Back to the polish. This one is Nose So Bright from last year's holiday collection. 

Nose So bright is a red cruelly with sterling silver flakes. The crelly is transparent enough to let the flakes peek through. It really is a lovely polish and it's perfect for the holidays.

The pictures are taken in artificial lighting. 

The formula is alright. It's quite thick and it's a little difficult to get even on the nails. It covers in two coats though, so it's not a major problem. 

The finish becomes super shiny when dry. 

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Different Dimension Nose So Bright  and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystak Coat. 

United in Pink: Different Dimension Lucky

United in Pink. Igår kunde jag inte vara med men idag, när det dessutom är Holofredag så är jag med igen. Idag visar jag Different Dimension Lucky.

Lucky är ett rosa lack med fantastiskt vacker holografisk effekt. Färgen är fin och regnbågarna makalösa. Ändå är det en rosa färg som jag inte trivs i. Den är lite för varmtonad för att jag verkligen ska älska det här lacket. Men fint är det. väldigt fint. Jag är bara väldigt noga med att det ska vara rätt rosa nyans för att överhuvudtaget gilla ett rosa lack. Men den holografiska effekten höjer verkligen det här lacket så även om det inte är precis rätt rosa nyans för att jag ska trivas i det är det ändå vackert.

Formulan är en dröm. Två lättapplicerade lager som torkar fort. Finishen blir glansig och överlack påverkar inte holoeffekten. Lacket behöver inte Aqua Fix för att kunna appliceras.
Det ni ser på bilderna är två lager Different Dimension Lucky och ett lager Seche Vite.

Lucky is a pink polish with an amazing holographic effect. The colour is pretty and the holo is breathtakingly beautiful.Though it isn't really the kind of pink I usually go for. It's a tad bit too warm toned for me. I'm very picky with pinks and it has to be a special pink, rather a cool toned than a warm toned, for me to really love it. But the holo makes this polish very pretty, so even though I don't feel comfortable in it I like it.

The formula is a dream! Two coats give full coverage and it's very easy to apply. The finish is shiny and top coat won't affect the holo effect. There's no need for Aqua Fix.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Different Dimension Lucky and one coat of Seche Vite.

Different Dimension Nessie's Revenge

Holofredag! Äntligen! Jag är självklart med och firar, speciellt efter en relativt tung skolvecka med två seminarieuppgifter som ska göras. Lacket jag visar upp idag är Different Dimension Nessie's Revenge från årets höstkollektion.
  
Nessie's Revenge är ett klargrönt holografiskt lack med starka regnbågar. Otroligt fint. Likt Smitten Polish Electric Lime men inte fullt lika neonaktigt och lite mer dämpad. Och namnet, Nessie's Revenge är ju alldeles perfekt på ett grönt holo. För nog bör väl namnet syfta på Loch Ness sjöodjuret? jag tror det i alla fall. Och jag har alltid tänkt mig Nessie som grön och glansig. Nu kanske till och med holografisk. För vem har sagt att mytologiska varelser inte kan vara holografiska. Tänk er bara, en holografisk enhörning. Det skulle vara något!
Lacket är aldrig grådisigt och holoefekten syns, om än väldigt lite, även när inte solen eller lampljus lyser upp lacket. Jag tycker det är så kul när indiemärken får till vackra holografiska lack. Det är ju många lack där effekten oftast är mer scattered, men här bildar lacket som sagt vackra regnbågar.
Bilderna är tagna i lampljus. Men alltså, ni måste se det här i solljus, regnbågarna blir mycket starkare då. Kommer det ett tillfälle då solen faktiskt ligger på utanför min lägenhet ska jag fota det här igen. För jag kommer definitivt bära detta igen.

Formulan är felfri. Det är som smör att lacka med. Smidigt och följsamt, men dock lite skirt för att vara holo. Jag upplever att de flesta holos täcker på två lager, detta krävde tre tunna lager för full täckning. Ingen Aqua Base behövdes och överlack påverka inte den holografiska effekten. Ett alldels ypperligt lack.

Translation: Holo Friday! Finally. I had a rather tough school week with preparations for two examinations. So I was more keen than usually to celebrate Holo Friday! The polish I'm showing you today is Different Dimension Nessie's Revenge from Different Dimension's fall collection.

Nessie's Revenge is a bright green holographic polish with strong rainbows. It's beautiful! It's a bit similar to Smitten Polish's Electric Lime but not quite as bright, yellow toned and neon like. And the name, Nessie's Revenge, is just perfect for a green holo. I'm just guessing the name comes from the Loch Ness monster. I've always imagined Nessie to be green and shiny. And now I imagine Nessie to even be holographic. I mean Nessie is (probably, because who can really tell?) a myth, but I really do think mythological creatures could be holographic. Really, just think about it. Maybe unicorns have holographic hairs which make them extra beautiful. Imagine that!
The polish never has that gray haze some holos have. I think it's fun when indie brands make good holos. It's not the easiest thing to do.
The pictures are taken in lamp light. You've really got to see it in the sunshine. The rainbows are amazing. Trust me on that one.

The formula is impeccable. It's like applying butter. It's completely problem free. Though it's a wee tot sheer. I find that most holos cover in a maximum of two coats, this polish, however, required three coats for complete coverage. There was no need for Aqua Base and top coat doesn't affect the holo effect.
