Enchanted Polish Dragon Egg

Hi darlings!

Long time no write. I guess you may want an explanation. The simple truth is that I completely lost interest in nail polish. It went from 100 to 0 in less than two months. Well, maybe from 100 to 3. I still painted my nails, but only about once a week. A lot of things were changing in my life and I wanted to do other things so the blog sort of died out on its own and I've been out of the nail polish loop for about six months.

Until I saw an instagram post of this polish, Enchanted Polish Dragon Egg, and basically fell head over heels into nail polish again.
This polish finally arrived to my house the other day and since then I wanted to write a post for you about it. I've been thinking about if it's a good idea to start this blog up again, but I decided that yes it is. I'm not going to post as frequently as I did before and not put any pressure on myself. If inspiration strikes I'll probably blog. As of right now I can't say how often that is. Maybe a few times a year or a few times a week. We'll see.

Back to Dragon Egg. Its a pink-ish red shimmer with a subtle holographic effect and lots of iridescent flakes. It's amazing. Absolutely beautiful. If I imagine dragon eggs, this is what they'd look like.

The formula is good. It's a bit sheer but three coats gave full coverage. The finish becomes a little textured when dry so you'll need a good top coat to make the finish shiny and smooth.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Enchanted Polish Dragon Egg and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Enchanted Polish Daydream

Hi sweeties!

Today I'll show you Enchanted Polish Daydream. I don't show Enchanted's as often as before but the brand is still one of my favourites.

Daydream is a light minty aqua blue holo with turquoise glass flecks. It's beautiful. The holo is scattered and subtle but cry pretty. The glass flecks add depth and shimmer.

I love the colour but it makes my hands look very red. It doesn't really suit my skin tone but I don't care. I still love the colour of this polish.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. Two coats give full coverage. It's dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny.

Enchanted Polish May 2014

Hey guys! It's soon Halloween and I still haven't showed you a proper orange. I think it's time to change that! Today I'll show you Enchanted Polish May 2014.

May 2014 is a coppery orange holographic. It's beautiful! It has some golden undertones that I really like. I don't find this very unique though. I have a few orange holos and most of them are very similar to this one. I do like it but the fact is that I'm a bit disappointed in this polish. Yes, it's beautiful but I usually find Enchanted Polish to be much more special. It's perfect for Halloween though!

The formula was alright. A bit thick. Two coats gave full coverage. The polish dried quickly and the finish became smoth and shiny.

Enchanted Polish Flashing Lights

It's Holo Friday! I have something super sparkly for you today, Enchanted Polish Flashing Lights.

Flashing Lights is a mix of ulta fine micro glitters and more "regular" sized gloden holographic glitter in a clear base. It's amazing and super sparkly. Probably one of the most intense glitter polishes I've ever seen. My camera totally freaked out and it's much more sparkly in real life than in my pictures. It's crazy! I'm definitely going to wear this on New Years.

The formula was good. A little thick but it's a glitter after all. Applications was easy. it covered in two coats. I'm so glad this contains two types of glitter. The micro glitters give coverage and the bigger gitter just adds depth. It dries fairly textured. Two coats of top coat are needed to make the finish shiny and smooth.

Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmo

Holo Friday! The best day of the week. The only day you can always count on seeing at least one rainbow. It's just lovely, isn't it?
Today I'm showing you my favourite polish Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmo.

Cranberry Cosmo is a cranberry red holo. The base is a dark pink-ish cranberry red with an almost metallic feel to it. I am completely and utterly in love with this. It's actually my  favourite polish. It took me forever to find since it's very elusive and VHTF and it cost me a lot of money. But it was definitely worth it. I mean, look at it! It's so stunning and the holo effect really brings out the lovely red colour. This polish is the ole reason why I love Enchanted Polish a a brand.

The formula is amazing! It's super easy to apply. And guess what! It's a one coater. Yep. I worn it on short nail and on long nails and no matter what it still covers in only one coat. The finish bcomes shiny and it dries quickly. The holo effect is not affected by top coat.
What you see in the pictures is one coat of Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmo, no top coat.

Enchanted Polish Green Goblin

It's Holo Friday! Yay! I had a job interview today that went so well! So when I got home I decided to celebrate by wearing Enchanted Polish Green Goblin.

Green Goblin is an emerald green polish with a linear holographic effect. It's green, it's holo, it's named after a super villian, it's lovely. What more can you ask from a polish? This polish has it all and this is exactly why I love Enchanted Polish so much. Unfortunately, this polish is discontinued and VHTF (very hard to find) but I was lucky and got my hands on it. Yes, it cost me a bit of money and two other polish, but it was so worth it. I love the colour and the holo. This screams spring to me. I can't help but love the name as well. Im a big Spider-Man fan and one of my favourite villians is Green Goblin.

The formula is good. It's smooth to apply and two coats gave full coverage. One coat would have sufficed though. That's another thing I really like about EP. Most of them are one coaters, which is really impressive. This dried a bit slowly though, even with fast drying top coat.  The TC does'nt dull down the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Enchanted Polish Green Goblin and one coat of Seche Vite.

Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight

Hello lovelies! I have a day off today so I'll swatch polish all afternoon. I have a few posts in store for you today as well. We'll start off with Enchanted Polih Afternoon Delight.

Afternoon Delight is a nude holographic polish with an interesting blue shimmer. It's beautiful and the shimmer adds depth and makes it something extra. A little more fun than your normal nude holo.
The first hour I wore this I just wanted to take it off, but since Enchanted Polish is one of my favourite brands I decided to give it a chance and wear it for 24 hours. I did, and I actually love it now. It's a good nude on me even though I didn't think that at first and I like the subtle holo. I will definitely wear this again. I can't wait to wear this in full sun light. The sky is all gray here again. I'd love some sun! The pictures are taken in artificial light.

The formula is impeccable as always when it comes to Enchanted. The application was flawless. It's a one coater, but I used to coats to give it some extra depth. It dries quickly and shiny. The holo effect is not affected by top coat.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight and one coat of Seche Vite.

Valentine Polish Week: Roses in September

Angelica and Zara are hosting a Valentine's Day Theme Week. I'm not much for Valentine's Day but I do love the nail art that comes with it. So I thought I'd give it a go with a skittlette.

The polishes I've used are Enchanted Polish September, Butter LONDON Cotton Buds and Cirque Galinda. I also used some rose water decals. I've worn them many times and I think I'll have to buy a new sheet of them. The roses are so pretty and easy to apply.

Enchanted Polish September is really super gorgeous. I've had it in my stash for about two weeks but this is the first time I wear it. It's a strawberries-and-milk pink holo that is so feminine, soft and pretty. And it's a one coater! I love it and think it was the perfect choice for this manicure.

Pointer: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013.
Middle: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013.
Ring: Two coats of Butter LONDON Cotton Buds
Pinky: One coat of Enchanted Polish September 2013 and one coat of Cirque Galinda.

Five Fall Favourites

Translation: Fall is almost here and I long for darker colours. Orange, purple, brown and gold are colours I want to wear this fall. Here I show you five polishes I worn and will wear again this fall. During the coming weeks you will also see these polishes in their own posts here at the blog.

Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate

Inget Aqua Fix behövs under heller. Det ni ser på mina bilder är två lager Hot Chocolate och ett lager Seche Vite.

Translation: Today I have one of the few brown polishes that I like to show you, Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate.
Hot Chocolate is a brown holo with a not so strong but still very pretty holo effect. I rarely wear brown polishes since I'm not very found of the colour. But this is the right type of brown for my skin tone and the holo makes it so pretty so I can't hep but to really like it.
The formula is good. It's easy to apply and not too thick or too thin. The finish is shiny and top coat will not affect the holo effect. No Aqua Fix is needed, which is always a plus. What you see in my pictures are two coats of Hot Chocolate and one coat of Seche Vite.
