United in Pink: Smitten Polish Udora's Harvest

United in Pink. This week is all about raising awareness about breast cancer cancer by showing pink polishes. I've decided to participate as much as I can. Today I'm doing so by showing you Smitten Polish Udora's Harvest from the fall collection.

Udora's Harvest is a rose old metallic with a strong linear holo effect. The colour is more pink than gold. It's a bit too pale for my taste. I do love the strong holo but the colour isn't really for me. The metallic finish is also pretty, it's just that I find the colour a bit too pale.

The formula was good and the polish was easy to apply. It's abit sheer but three coats gave full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. The holo effect isn't affected by top coat.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Smitten Polish Udora's Harvest and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

China Glaze Champagne Kisses

 

Idag bär jag underbara China Glaze Champagne Kisses från julkollektionen Holiday Joy. Det är ett glitterlack med små roséguldfärgade glitter samt lite holografiskt glitter (som min kamera vägrade fota). Det är väldigt, väldigt vackert och jag gillar det verkligen.

Det här lacket, trots att det är glitter, känns väldigt nedtonat och elegant. Det är himla kul tycker jag för det är sällan man stöter på sådana glitterlack. 

Jag tycker verkligen om den här typen av glitterlack som China Glaze släppt den senaste tiden.

 

 

Formulan är väldigt bra och lacket täcker på tre lager.  Det känns inte särskilt knottrigt på nageln, men lacket torkar matt och äter topplack, så minst två lager topplack krävs för att få ytan helt jämn och glansig.

The formula is good and three coats give full coverage. It dries matte and feels slightly rough on the nail so two coats of top coat are needed to make the finish smoth and shiny.
