Fantasy Fire Layering

Hi darlings! Long time no write. I've been so busy finish up my bachelor's degree project that I haven't had the time to blog. I've finished the project now and I have to turn it in on Thursday. Hopefully I'll pass! 

Enough about that, let's talk about polish instead. Today I'll show you two of my favourite polishes in a lovely layering. 

The polishes I've used are Barry M Blue Grape and Max Factor Fantasy Fire. 

Blue Grape might just be the perfect blue colour. It's so vibrant and shiny. 

Fantasy Fire is as most of you now a gorgeous multichrome. It doesn't cover on its own, unless you use a billion (at least six coats. Yes, I've tried), so it's the perfect polish for layering. 

I love Fantasy Fire over Blue Grape. It's stunning and so much more sparkly and vibrant in real life. When the light hits it the shimmer sparkles in a vivid purple over the blue base. In indirect sunlight, as you can see in the pictures, the multichromatic effect is better seen. 

I used two coats of Barry M Blue Grape, one coat of Max Factor Fantasy Fire and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Layering: China Glaze Liquid Leather + Nubar Violet Sparkle + Max Factor Fantasy Fire

För ett tag sedan visade Honeymunchkin upp en fantastisk layering med China Glaze Ruby Pumps och Max Factor Fantasy Fire över svart. Jag blev helt betagen och var tvungen att prova att göra en egen layering med samma koncept. Det passade alldeles utmärkt att göra idag. Jag trivdes inte allt för väl i Majesty och dessutom är jag sjuk. Så då hade jag tiden över till att fundera vilka lack jag ville använda. Det slutade med China Glaze Liquid Leather, Nubar Violet Sparkle och Max Factor Fantasy Fire.

Resultatet? Jag älskar det. Jag tycker det ser helt fantastiskt ut, jag är så jäkla nöjd. Violet Sparkle och Fantasy Fire gjorde sig så bra ihop! Ni får till och med en närbild för att se hur fint det är.

I didn't really like Majesty that I wore earlier today. So I decided to paint my nails. I saw a fantatic layering combination that honeymunchkin did with China Glaze Ruby Pumps and Max Factor Fantasy Fire. I wanted to try a manicure that had the same concept. I used China Glaze Liuid Leather, Nubar Violet Sparkle and Max Factor Fantasy Fire.
I love the result. It's absolutely gorgeous. I'm so pleased with it.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire

 

Jag läser socionomprogrammet på Mälardalenshögskola och idag hade jag min första salstenta. Imorse var jag ruskigt nervös, men det kändes bra efter att jag gjort tentan och jag hoppas på att bli godkänd.

Men nu är det ju inte mina akademiska framsteg vi ska prata om utan det är ju faktiskt lack!

Eftersom jag hade tenta idag ville jag passa på att vara lite extra fin om naglarna, för att pigga upp om det skulle gå käpp rätt åt skogen. Så idag bär jag alldeles underbara Max Factor Fantasy Fire. Åh, jag borde skämmas för att jag låtit det stå otestat så länge, men i mina ögon ser det faktiskt rätt tråkigt ut i flaskan. Jag har verkligen inte kunnat förstå all hype kring det här lacket. Fram tills nu. Det är ju helt underbart! 

Fantasy Fire är ett ett multikromt lack som skiftar i lila, blått grönt och guld. Jag la ett lager Fantasy Fire över två lager Essie Butler Please. Kombinationen är fantastisk i verkligheten och färgskiftningarna är helt otrolig. tråkigt nog gjorde det sig inte lika vackert på bild och färgskiftningarna gick knappt att fånga på bild. Så det ser mest lila och blått ut på mina bilder.

 

Formulan är bra. Inget att klaga på alls. Eftersom det är första gången jag provar lacket vet jag inte om det går att få opakt på egen hand. Jag tror inte det, utan det passar sig nog bäst för layering.  Det är i alla fall å jag kommer bära det.

Translation: I had an exam today so i wanted my nails to look extra nice. I'm wearing Max Factor Fantasy Fire. It's an absolutely gorgeous polish! I really love it!

It's a multichrome that shift colours between purple, blue, green and gold. I layered one coat of Fantasy Fire over two coats of Essie Butler Please. The combination i amazing in reality but my camera coldn't capture the beauty of it.

The formula is good. I think this polish is better for layering. since it's the first time I'm wearing it I don't know if you can use it on its own.
