Glam Polish No Lei-Overs! (LE) Swatches & Review

Hi darlings!

Today I want to show you Glam Polish No Lei-Overs! Collection. It's a gorgeous  six piece collection inspired by the  Hawaiian islands. And yes, it really makes you think of beaches, coconut drinks and palm trees in the sun.

There are four glitters and two holos in this collection. The formulas of all of them are great. The glitters are thick but not too thick and easy to apply. The holos go on so smoothly and levels out perfectly.

I really wish I was at a beach in a tropical paradise. Here in Sweden it seems like fall is already on its way. It's already starting to get colder and darker outside.

All photos are taken in artificial lighting.

Hawaii Kai

Hawaii Kai is a turquoise leaning teal base with blue, turquoise, teal and bright green glitter. This is the Ocean in a bottle. It's absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorites in the collection.
Two coats and top coat.

Lanikai Dreaming

Lanikai Dreaming is pale gold holo with lots and lots of matte pink and white glitter. It's fun, flirty and feminine. Since the base is so neutral this is perfect for both work and a friday night out. The base tones it down while still being really glittery and pretty. The only prolem I had with this one is that even after two coats of top coat the finish was slightly textured.

Hanalei Sunset

Hanalei Sunset is a gorgeous blurple jelly with blue, pink and purple prismatic glitter. It has so much depth. It was super hard to photograph though. This is one of those polishes you really have to see for yourself.

Lei'd in Lahaina

Lei'd in Lahaina is a magenta holo with magenta, pink,  white and even som copper glitter. It sparkles like crazy! Even though there's so much glitter in it one coat of top coat does the trick and makes the finish shiny and smooth.

Two coats and top coat.

Hibiscus Hideaway

Hibiscus Hideaway is an orange toned red holo. In some lightings it leans more orange and in other more red. In some it even leans pinkish red. This is my favourite from the collection. I'm a sucker for vibrant reds and this one is perfection. The holo is strong and adds depth to the aready beautiful colour of the base. And, it doesn't stain (!!!) even though it's so pigmented.

One coat and top coat.

Waikiki Wahine

Waikiki Wahine is a berry pink holo with blue and purple shimmer in it. This is very pretty, but the one I liked the least in the collection. Don't got me wrong, I really like it, it's just that I like the others more.

Colors by Llarowe Time to Chill Collection: Swatches & Review

Hi darlings!

Today I'll share a new collection from Colors by Llarowe called Time to Chill. The collection is excusive to Hypnotic Polish and can only be bought from there. From the beginning I had my mind set on three of them but I ended up buying the whole collection.

I wanted new holographic neons since last summer's failure from Mentality. Or scandal. Whatever you want to call it was horrible.

Anyway, the Time to Chill Collection consists of six neon holos. They're all stunning and perfect for summer. Overall the formula is good. A few of them were very sheer and others perfectly normal. Usually when I do a mani with neon I do a white base but for these swatches I didn't so you can actually see the coverage. Thy all dry to semi-matte finish so you need top coat if you want the finish to be shiny.

The photos are taken in artificial lightning.

Island Escape

Island Escape is a neon lime green scattered holo. The colour is so lovely and bright. Perfect neon green. The only downside is that it's a bit sheer on it's own. With a white base you'd probably need two coats.
Shown is three coats plus top coat.

Hello Starfish

Hello Starfish is a watrmlon neon pink scattered holo. This is so pretty. It's surprisingly my favorite from the collection. I'm no big fan of pink but I love this. It's just so summer-y and vibrant. I think it's the least neon one in the collection.
Two coat plus top coat.

Bikinis & Flip Flops

Bikinis & Flip Flops is a neon purple scattered holo. This one was so hard to photograph. It's a bit lighter in real life. It's such a juicy, intense colour.
Two coats plus top coat.

Zest for Life

Zest for Life is a neon yellow scattered holo. There's a few drops of green in that yellow making it ook evn more neon. I love the coour but it's very sheer. As with Island Escape this one would benefit from a white base.
Shown is three coats plus top coat.

Cocktail Party

Cocktail Party is a neon magenta scattered holo. This is another one that was really hard to photograph. It's a tad lighter and slightly more pink in real life. The colour is gorgeous. It's so vibrant! And the holo makes it even prettier.
Two coats plus top coat.

Sweet Nectar

Sweet Nectar is a neon orange scattered holo. This is such an amazing orange. It's so intense! I love it. This one was also a bit sheer but nowhere near Island Escape and Zest for Life.

Cupcake Polish Butterfly Collection: Swatches & Review

Hello!

Today I'll show you Cupcake Polih Butterfly Collection. It's a collectio containing six linear holographic polishes. It's a gorgeous collection and the holo is really intense.
The colours are all beautiful and there's something for everyone in the collection.

Formula wise this colection was very consistent. They all have great formulas. The formula isn't too thick or too thin. It' supereasy to apply and there was no clean up needed. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that they were all a bit sheer. All of the colours needed three coats of polish for full coverage.

Hatch of the Day

Hatch of the Day is a dusty medium pink linear holo. The colour is beautiful but not very unique. The holo effect is super vibrant and intense though, which gives the polish a little edge.
Three coats and top coat.

Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a medium blue, leaning blurple, linear holo. It's such a vibrant, gorgeous, super holographic colour. One of my favourites from the Butterfly Collection.
Three coats and top coat.

Cocoon

Cocoon is a rusty burnt copper linear holo. This wold be the perfect orange for fall. It's absolutely gorgeous.
Three coats and top coat.

Transformation

Transformation is dusty violet linear holo. The colour is really pretty. It's a bit lighter in real life but this shade of purple was so ard for my camera to capture. The colour is nothing unique but the holo is really pretty and makes the polish look vibrant.

Little Butterfly

Little Butterfly is a emerald green linear holo. This one is brilliant. It's intense, vibrant and absolutely gorgeous. This is my favourite from the collection. I love it.
Three coats and top coat.

Time to Fly

Time to Fly is a fuchsia linear holo. It's a gorgeous colour. It's so juciy and the holo adds a lot of depth.
