Powder Perfect Drunken Gummy Bears

Hello!
Powder Perfect Drunken Gummy Bears from February's What' In-Die Box? is what I have in store for you today.

Drunken Gummy Bears is an orange, almost brick orange holo. The holo particles are very fine som the result is that velvet-y looking finish. It's really pretty but it's too muted for my liking.  I like my oranges vibrant.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is good. Two coats give full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes semi-matte, so top coat is needed for a glossy glass-like look.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Powder Perfect Drunken Gummy Bears and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Lilypad Lacquer Illuminate

 Hi guys!
Long time, no write. I've been super busy with my internship the last week so I haven't had the time to blog.
Today I'll show you Lilypad Lacquer Illuminate from February's What's In-Die Box?.

Illuminate is such a complex shade. It's a lilac base with lilac and blue flakes and a subtle holo effect. The lilac and bue flakes give it almost a duchromatic look which I love. This is so much prettier on the nails than in the bottle. I was actually sceptic towards this when I saw it in the bottle, but on the nails it's gorgeous!

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great! It's a little sheer but three coats give full coverage. It dries quickly and becomes very shiny.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Lilypad Lacquer Illuminate and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Glam Polish Miraculous

Hello!
Todays polish is Glam Polish MIraculous from the collection Cast a Spell Part 3: The White Witch.

Miraculous is a peach pastel with a scattered holo effect and white prismatic glitter. It's gorgeous in the bottles and on the nails but the colour doesn't suit my skin tone. It looks a bit dirty and grey on me, instead of the lovely peach pink that it is. I really wish this suited me better, but it sadly enough it doesn't.

This is the only one from the collection that won't stay in my stash. I love the colour and how sparkly it is, so I'm really sad that it looks so horrible on me.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. There's lots of glittr in this but it's still easy to apply. Two coats give full coverage. It dries to a extured finish so top coat is needed to make it smooth.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish Miraculous, one coat of Pretty Serious Aqua Coat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Lilypad Lacquer Free Spirit

Hi guys!

Australian What's In-Die Box? is my favourite type of indie polish box. Five surprise polishes from amazing Aussie brands and a new theme every month. I just love that. Check it out if you haven't.

Today I'll show you Lilypad Lacquer Free Spirit from March's What's In-Die Box? and the theme for the box was Disney Princesses.

Free Spirit is a sandy beige with blue and gold flakes and a subtle holo effect. It was inspired by Pocahontas. I love Free Spirit. It's a perfect neutral to me. The blue flakes make it look almost  grey and the golden flakes give it some extra sparkle. The holo is very subtle but adds depth and a little glam.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing. It's creamy and smooth and easy to apply. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes semi matte so for a super shiny look top coat is a must.

Glam Polish Big Blonde & Beautiful

It's Friday!
My boyfriend's parents are coming to visit us this weekend. I'm excited about it. We're going to Ikea to buy some stuff for the appartment.
Today I'll show you Glam Polish Big Blonde & Beautiful from the collection Hairspray.

Big Blonde & Beautiful is a buttercup yellow holo with gold-ish lemon yellow shimmer. It's amazing and so unique. I love yellows in the summer. It's such a happy colour. The problem is that yellows aren't completely hazzle free to apply, but the formula of this is surprisingly good. I really love this. It's so bright and vivid without being neon.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is good. It's well pigmented and goes on smoothly. I needed three thin coats for full coverage. It was still a bit streaky at two coats but the third coat evened it out. The finish becomes semi matte so for a nice, shiny finish top coat is needed.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Glam Polish Big Blonde & Beautiful and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Purple Gradient with Stamping

Hello sweeties!

Today I'll show you a gradient with stamping I did last week. It's similar to this nail art I did, except that tis one is purple.  The polishes I've used are Colors by Larowe My Private Paradise and Feelings, Whoa Whoa Whoa for the gradient. I used the dry brush technique to do it. The gradient isn't super visible in the picture, my camera couldn't really capture te different shades of purple. For the stamping I used Mentality Black Opaque. I used the Creative Shop Stamper and a stamping plate from Bundle Monster.

I love the result. I still have to work on my stamping skills, but I'm becoming better and better.

A England Fotheringhay Castle

It's Green Wednesday!
Today I'll show you A England otheringhay Castle from the collection Elizabeth & Mary.

Fotheringhay Castle is a mossy olive green with a golden shine and a subtle holographic effect. This the type of green that I love. It's murky, mysterious and absolutely gorgeous. And incredibly hard to photograph. My skin tone looks a bit off in the pictures but there was no other way for me to capture the colour.
This is the perfect green for autumn. Right now I'm very into brights, as I usually am during spring, so this is a tad dark for the season.  I'll probably wear this loads of time when the weather get cooler in about five months.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing. It's thick and creamy and applies like butter. Two thin coats give full coverage, but one could do if it's thicker. This polish will probably work very well for stamping.
It dries to a shiny finish.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of A England Fotheringhay Castle and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Cart Hold??

Hi darlings!
Todays polish is Smitten Polish Cart Hold?? This one was released during a sample sale and was on sale for 24 hour.

Cart Hold??  is a neon pink jelly with prismatic micro glitter. It's asbolutely stunning. I wish I'd bought two bottles of this one. It's a new favourite neon. It's s bright and vivid. Neons are hopeless to photograph since the amazing glow is so difficult to capture. This is even brigther in person. It's a real show stopper. The prismatic micro glitter i super sparkly and adds some extra flair.

Noelie makes the best micro glitter jellies out there so if you still haven't tried them you really should.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is great. It's super easy to apply and goes on smoothly. Two coats give full coverage. It dries wuickly and the finish becomes a little textured. Nothing a little top coat can't fix.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Smitten Polish Cart Hold?? and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Cirque XX

What about a second post today, eh? Yep, I did have time to write two post and prepare post for the rest of the week.

The other day I did a layering with Isadora Baby Blue (which makes this post perfect for Blue Monday) and Cirque XX.

Isadora Baby Blue is a baby blue creme.  I bought this before the fact that they treat they employees horribly came out in the open. I woudn't recomend anyone to buy their products until Isadora starts to treat their employees better.  So enough said about that polish.

Cirque XX is a glitter topper with prismatic pastel glitter in different shapes and sizes. It's one of my favourite glitter toppers. It's amazing and so pretty! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it's scented with lavendel. It gives me headache. I wish Cirque could do unscented versions of their polishes as well. Other than that this is the perfect glitter topper. It's gorgeous over pastels or black.

The formula of XX is great. The translucent base is thick, but not too thick and picks up a lot of glitter. I think one coat gives enough glitter. In my opinion two coats of XX covers the base too much. It dries to a shiny but slightly rough finish.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Isadora Baby Blue, one coat of Cirque XX and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Peita's Polish Calypso

It's Blue Monday. Today I'll show you Peita's Polish Calypso. Calypso was an exclusive to March's What's In-Die Box? The box's theme was cocktails and it was an all holo box.

Calypso is a bright blue holo. There are quite a lot of holos out there in this shade of blue. I understand why, it's such a beautiful, vivid blue.
I really like this. It was a long time ago I wore this type of blue holo. I've forgotten about how much I love the colour.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing, it's easy to apply and totally self levelling. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes fairly shiny, to get a super glossy look a coat of top coat does the trick.
