Saran Wrap Nails

I did some nail art today and I'm super happy with the result! I did saran wrap nails since I wanted to do something easy but still exsiting. I've completely forgotten about how incredibly beautiful saran wrap nails can be!

The polishes I've used are China Glaze Highlight of My Summer, China Glaze Boho Blues, Glam Polish Anuenue and Mentality Black Opaque. I used Highlight of My Summer as the base and then used Boho Blues and the saran wrap technique to do the pattern. I finished the mani off with Glam Polish Anuenue, because Anuenue makes every mani better!
I couldn't let the mani be and had to stamp it. I used a pattern from MoYou London Sailor Collection Plate 05. The end result with the stamping is a little mermaid-esque and I love it!

The pictures are taken in indirect sunlight. The picture of the stamped mani is taken in direct sunlight. Blogger is making my pictures blurry when I upload them. It's getting really frustrating. I'm thinking about changing to another blog platform but I haven't decided yet.

China Glaze Dorothy Who?

Hi lovelies! It's been silent here on th eblog for a few days. The reason? My computer is completely broken. I have to get it fixed ASAP. I'm uploading  pictures to my boyfriend's computer instead. I'm really going to try to still get a good quality to the pictures.
Anyway, today I'm showing you another favourite from China Glaze, Dorothy Who?

Dorothy Who? is a blue jelly packed with silver and blue micro glitter. It's similar to China Glaze Skyscraper but not as dark. Dorothy Who? is a more of a cobalt, brighter shade if blue. I love this shade of blue, it's very pretty. It's extremely sparkly and sparkles are always amazing. I just love it!

The formula is great. It's a jelly so it's a bit sheer. I was perfectly happy with the coverage after three coats. There was still some VNL but nothing that bothered me. The VNL shows much more in the pictures than in real life. It dries quickly and the finish becomes fairly smooth considering the amount of glitter. Top coat makes the finish very shiny and smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of China Glaze Dorothy Who? and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

China Glaze Skyscraper

Hi! It's Blue Monday today! It was such a long time ago since I participated that I just had to today. I'm showing you China Glaze Skyscraper.

Skyscraper is a dark blue jelly with silver glitter. It's a favourite from China Glaze. I like it so much that I actually have a back up of it! I love how the glitters peek through the dark blu base. It makes it look like the polish contains both blue and silver glitter. It looks like the perfect midwinter night sky. Absolutely gorgeous!

The formula is good. It's not too thin and not too thick. Just somewhere in between. It's a bit sheer. It covers in three coats, probably in two if your nails aren't as crazy long a mine are right now. No, I still haven't bought a new glass file...
The polish dries quickly and the finish becomes rather rough but quite shiny. Top coat is needed to get that super smooth glass looking finish.

What you see in the pictures are three coats of China Glaze Skyscraper and one coat of Prettu Serious Crystal Coat.

China Glaze DV8

Today I'm showing you one of my biggest lemmings. China Glaze DV8 from the almost mythical OMG Collection. I've wanted this polish since forever and now I finally got it. I slapped it on as soon as I got it. I just couldn't wait!

DV8 is tealish blue green with a super linear holo. I can't really pin point the colour but it looks much like a mediterranean sea, with the sunlight reflecting upon the waves. It's gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I literally had to lay down on the sofa because I was swooning so much over this. Ridiculous yes, but if you're a polish addict then you are. What's a girl supposed to do?
I love this polish. Simply love it. There's not much else to say.
The pictures are taken in sunligt because the skies have been heavy with gray clouds for months now. Can't wait to see this in the sun. If the sun ever decides to burst through those clouds.

The formula is great. Nothing to complain about there. It might be the tiniest bit runny, but nothing I couldn't handle. Two coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. I noticed that there tended to almost be some cuticle drag on the first coat but it evened out perfectly on the second coat. Some people may think Aqua Fix is needed but I don't. The holo effect isn't affected by top coat. At least not the top coat I used.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of DV8 and one coat of China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

China Glaze Emerald Sparkle

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful time with your loved ones now during the Holidays.

My Christmas mani is China Glaze Emerald Sparkle. It's been my biggest lemmig for years and i finally got it about six months ago. I haven't been able to bring myself to use it, but today was the time to wear it.

Emerald Sparkle is an emerald green jelly filled with a lighter shade of green glitter. It's absolutely gorgeous! The prettiet, most beautiful green I own. it just lits up from with in.

The formula was good. The application was easy and smooth. Three thin coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. The finish becomes a bit matte due to all the glitter but it's nothing a little top cot can't handle.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Emerald Sparkle, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

China Glaze Mingle With Kringle

Hello! Long time no write. I'm extremely busy with my internship and the Holidays are jut around the corner, so there's not much time for blogging, except in the middle of the night! But as I've told you everything will go back to normal here in the middle of January and you'll have daily posts again.

So, Christmas then! I love Christmas, it's my favourite Holiday! I get to celebrate it with my lovely family and friends, eat lots of good food and just be with the people I love the most. So december here at the blog will be alla bout Christmas hues (though there might pop in a non-christmas shade as well, for good measure). The first polih I'll show you today is China Glaze Mingle With Kringle.

Mingle With Kringle is a golden foil with lots of sparkle to it. I love the shade of gold but it doesn't go well with my skintone. I usually really like foils, but there's something about the finish that I don't quite like. I can't put my finger on it (pun intended), but it's something.
I'll probably won't wear this again. Actually, I won't wear it again since I sold it in my blog sale.

There formula on the other hand was good. It applied smoothly and leveled out nicely. Two coats gave full coverage and it dried fast. The finish became supershiny and very. very sparkly indeed, even without top coat.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of China Glaze Mingle With Kringle and one coat of Poshé.

China Glaze All Wrapped Up

It's Blue Monday today and I have China Glaze All Wrapped Up to show you. It's part of the Happy Holiglaze collection.

All Wrapped Up has a clear base packed with blue micro glitter. I think it's lovely, but it doesn't give me that holiday vibe. I'm a big fan of China Glaze's micro glitters. They are easy to apply, give great coverage and are incredibly shimmery.
All Wrapped Up has a lovely blue colour, just the type of blue I like. I will definitely wear this again!

The formula is good. Application was easy and smooth. It covers in three thin coat and dries quickly. As expected the finish becomes a bit dull and a little gritty, but nothing a little top coat can't handle.
What you see in the pictures are thre coats of All Wrapped Up and two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

China Glaze This Is Tree-mendous

I think it's time to start showing some Christmas hues. I love Christmas and I think half of my stash consist of holiday themed polishes. I just find the Holiday collections to be the best collections of the year. So today I have China Glaze This Is Tree-mendous from the new collection Happy Holiglaze.

This Is Tree-mendous is a glitter with green and golden micro glitter in a clear base.  The prominent colour is green but you can still see the golden glitter. Perfect for Green Wednesday!
It's pretty and a great colour for the holiday. I just wish that the colour was a bit deeper and a darker shade of green. It's beautiful as it is but I think a darker shade would feel more Christmas like.
I love China Glaze's micro glitters. They're very opaque and well put together.

The formula was good. Application was easy peasy. I have nothing to complain about. It covered in three thin coats. As expected the finish became matte and a little rough. A few coats of top coat made the finish shiny and smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of China Glaze This Is Tree-mendous, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and two coats of Seche Vite.
