CrowsToes Vanaheim

 Hi sweeties!
It's Green Wednesday today! I'll show you CrowsToes Vanaheim that I got the lovely Nailtastic gave me.

Vanaheim is a multichrome that shifts from Peridot green to gold, copper and teal. It also has colour shifting glitters that adds extra sparkle. This is gorgeous! It's just my type of polish. The multichromatic effect is much stronger in real life, my camera had a hard time to capture it.

The pictures are taken in indirect sunlight. Once again Blogger has meesed up the quality of my pictures. It happens from time to time. Any tips on what I can do about it? I'm so tired of my pictures going blurry as soon as they're uploaded to Blogger...

 The formula is great. Two coats give full coverage. It dries quicly but the finish becomes slightly textured. You need top coat to get a completely smooth and shiny finish.

What you see int hepictures are two coats of CrowsToes Vanaheim and one coat of Pretty Serious Crstal Coat.

CrowsToes Hellhound

 Goodmorning! Today I'm in the mood for CrowsToes, so CrowsToes is what I'm going to show you! This is CrowsToes Hellhound from the fall collection Better Late Than Never. 

Hellhound is a n almost multichromatic shimmer that shifts from burgundy, red, copper, brown to gold. It's my favourite from the collection. I find it stunning. The colours are lovely and it's just perfect for fall. Or anytime when you feel like wearing a vampy shade. Because yes, I do find this vampy.

I really like CrowsToes, I wish I had more polishes from this lovely indie brand to show. As of right now there are only three or four in my stash. I'll definitely have to get a few more since mst of the polishes are beautiful!

The formula is good. Smooth and easy to appply. Two coats gave full coverage, but I applied a third to get more depth. The polish dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny. Not shiny enough for me though since I love a glass like finish.
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of CrowsToes Hellhound and two coats of Seche Vite.

Nail Art Sunday Gradient

 

Jag tog en lite bloggpaus nu under helgen. Det har varit hektiskt senaste veckan och jag skulle till mina föräldrar i Dalarna för att hälsa på. En av min mammas bästa vänner var också där i helgen och hälsade på och med sig hade hon sin nyss fyllda 1-åring. Han är så charmig och busig. Så jag har ätit gott, umgåtts med familjen och gosat med bebisen hela helgen. Jättemysigt och välbehövligt.

Nu är jag tillbaka i Eskilstuna och har varit själv här de senaste timmarna så jag passade på att måla naglarna. Idag är det ju Lelacks Nail Art Sunday och temat är gradient. Jag gjorde en reversed glitter gradient med China Glaze Liquid Leather och CrowsToes Absolum - Your Potions Master. 

Egentligen  var jag inte säker på att jag skulle gilla Absolum - Your Potions Master för jag köpte det endast för namnets skull. Vilket Harry Potter-fan skulle kunna motstå ett lack inspirerat av Alan Rickman som spelar just Absolum i Alice in Wonderland och Severus Snape i Harry Potter-filmerna? Inte jag i alla fall. Jag är riktigt glad att jag köpte lacket för det är väldigt snyggt.

 

Jag målade två lager av China Glaze Liquid Leather och sedan målade jag med Absolum - Your Potions Master längst in på naglarna. Absolum - Your Potions Master består av hexglitter i flera olika storlekar och färger. Jag ser blått, grönt, silver, orange och svart. Det finns även lite strängglitter i svart. Jag hyser en ganska stark avsky mot just strängglitter men i det här lacket gillar jag det. Dessutom är strängglittren så få och syns knappt på den svarta basen. 

Jag älskar resultatet av den här gradienten. 

It's Lelack's Nail Art Sunday today and the theme for this week is gradients. I decided to do a reversed glitter graident. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather as base and did th gradient with CrowsToes Absolum - Your Potions Master.

I used two coats of Liquid Leather and then I sponged on Absolum - Your Potions Master. I love the result.
