Smitten Polish Shoe Polish
Hi sweethearts!
Today I'll show you a group custom for a Smitten Polish FB-group. As you may know Smitten is now caled Dreamland Lacquer.
Shoe Polish is a white scattered holo with opalescent flakies and pink shimmer. It's absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of snow, winter and ice. It's so beautiful. I'm actually a bit sad that you can't get a hold of this one anymore cause I'd like aback up of it. That's how much I like it. The pink shimmer was super hard for my camera to capture. It's more prominent in real life and in indirect sunlight. These pictures are taken in artificial lighting.
The formula was good. It was a bit thick, but in no way difficult to apply. The first two coats were a bit patchy but a third leveled the finish out. The finish becomes slightly textured so top coat i needed for a smooth finish. This is three coats and top coat.
what you see in the pictures are three coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Nose so Bright
Hello darlings!
I'd like to show you one of my absolute favourites from Smitten Polish. This is Nose so Bright from 2014's holiday collection which probbly is the best collection from Smitten so far.
I've shown you Nose so Bright once before. Back then I said it was a true red that leans slightly pink in some lightings. I beg to differ now. It is a pink toned red that leans more red than pink, but the pink definitely pops in some lightings. Like the artificial lighting I used for these pictures.
As I've already said it's one of my favourite reds from Smitten. Actually, It's just one of my favourite reds. It's just perfect. Lovely, red, and perfect.
The photos are taken in artificial lighting.
The formula is flawless. Two coats gave full coverage and it dries quickly. The finish becomes very shiny. Top coat doesn't affect the holo effect.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Smitten Polish Nose so Bright and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Green and Gold
I'm a sucker for glitter gradient. I wanted to do a Christmas gradient now that the Holidays are just around the corner. Green and gold are perfect colours for that.
The polishes I've used are OPI Christmas Gone Plaid and Smitten Polish Cecil the Lion. Christmas Gone Plaid is one of my favourite greens from OPI and Cecil the Lion is the perfect golden gold, prismatic glitter.
I love the result of this mani.

Smitten Polish Seasonal Lattes
Anyway, we're already mid-way trough September and I haven't really shown you any Autumn-y polish yet. So that's exactly what I'll do today. This is Smitten Polish Seasonal Lattes from 2014's fall collection, which was an amazing collection.
Seasonal Lattes is a golden-ish brown with an intense holo effect. The colour is AAAHMAZING!
I mean, look at it! It's so gorgeous! The perfect brown holo. It has both golden and green undertones which makes the colour rich and cozy and absolutely beautiful. This was my favourite brown polish last autumn and one of my favourite Smittens. It's still a favourite Smitten and it's still my favourite brown for fall.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.
The formula is great. It covers in two thin coats. It does stain a little, nothing major but you're nails might get a greenish tint to them if you don't use two coats of a good top coat. I used Pretty Serious Rock On! It dres quickly and the finish becomes super shiny. Top coat doen't dull the holo.

Smitten Polish Date Night
Hi guys!
The formula is great. Smitten really do amazing polish. Some of the best in the world of indies in my opinion. Two coats give full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes very shiny. TC won't dull the holo effect.
Today I'll show you Smitten Polish Date Night. This has been on my wish list since I first saw it but for some reason I never bought it. Instead I got it as a birthday gift from the lovely Anne over at Nailtastic.blogspot.com
Date Night is a hot pink, almost neon, holo. It's awesome! The colour is gorgeous and perfect for summer. It makes my hands look really tan even though I was as pale as a ghost when I took these photos.
The holo is so intense and makes the colour even more vibrant and bright.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

Maple Sugar Candy has a translucent base packed with caramel golden prismatic micro glitters. it's beautiful. I like the colour, it's very unique. I have no other gold polish like it in my collection.
It's supersparkly. I wore it a lot during the Holiday season. I probably won't wear it during the summer since colour for me is very autumn-y.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.
The formula is great. Three thin coats give ful coverage. It dries quickly but the finish becomes slightly textured. top coat makes the finish shiny and smooth.

Yes it' summer now but I still have posts from Christmas in my blogger archive that haven't been published. This is one of those posts. I think it's time to show you this one. It's an absoulute stunner. This is Smitten Polish Nose so Bright.
Nose so Bright is true red holo. It's slightly pink leaning in certain lights but it's definitely a true red.
I love red holos and Smitten has made a lot of amazing red holos but this one is the best of them. I love how deep and vibrant the colour is. It's perfect for the Holiday season as well as any occasion when you feel like red is the way to go.
I acctually need a back up of this one. That's how much I love it.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.
The formula is impeccable. Two coats gave full coverage and it dries quickly. The finish becomes very shiny. Top coat does not affect the holographic effect.

Smitten Polish Elixir
Hi sweethearts!
It's Green Wednesday! I'll show you Smitten Polish Elixir. It's an exclusive for Hypnotic Polish.
Elixir is a dark teal green jelly with prismatic micro glitter. It's the type of polish Noelie makes best. It's absolutely gorgeous. A flawless teal green that's super sparkly. Everyone who loves green or teal should own this. It's that amazing.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight. It's much more sparkly in real life. All the glitter freaked out my camera a little.
The formula is impeccable. Two coats give full coverage. The finish becomes smooth but needs top coat to be really shiny.

Smitten Polish Girl Sprouts
Hello!
It's Green Wednesday today and I'l show you Smitten Polish Girl Sprouts.
Girl Sprouts is a grass green holo with a strong holo effect. It's gorgeous, perfect for spring and summer. Smitten has lots of amazing greens. My favourite right now is Between the Baubles but this is a close second. This is definitely more appropriate for summer than the darker Between the Baubles.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight. The holo effect is a little stronger in real life than in the photos, the holo made my camera freak out a little.
The formula is good. It's a little thin, but easy to apply. It's quite sheer, I needed three coats for full coverage.
It dries quickly and the fiish becomes very shiny.

Smitten Polish Cart Hold??
Hi darlings!
Todays polish is Smitten Polish Cart Hold?? This one was released during a sample sale and was on sale for 24 hour.
Cart Hold?? is a neon pink jelly with prismatic micro glitter. It's asbolutely stunning. I wish I'd bought two bottles of this one. It's a new favourite neon. It's s bright and vivid. Neons are hopeless to photograph since the amazing glow is so difficult to capture. This is even brigther in person. It's a real show stopper. The prismatic micro glitter i super sparkly and adds some extra flair.
Noelie makes the best micro glitter jellies out there so if you still haven't tried them you really should.
The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.
The formula is great. It's super easy to apply and goes on smoothly. Two coats give full coverage. It dries wuickly and the finish becomes a little textured. Nothing a little top coat can't fix.

Stamping and Half Moons
Hi guys! I hope you all are haveing a lovely weekend. I've been home relaxing all day. I also did some nail art today that I'd like to show you.
For this mani I used OPI Lady in Black, Smitten Polish Seahorse Rodeo and Picture Polish Chillax. I used nail vinyls to create the half moon on my index and pinky. I used Mentality Black Opaque for stamping the pattern. The pattern is from MoYou London Sailor Collection Plate 05. I as usually used the Creative Shop Stamper to stamp with. I bought mine from Rainbow Connection, but you can buy it from other places as well.
About Mentality Black Opaque, it's the best black stamping polish I've used. It's super pigmented and dries quickly but not so fast that you have to stress when using it for stamping. I don't think I'm going to use another black for stamping ever again.
I really love how this turned out. I love the pattern, though it looks a little wonky since I haven't completely mastered the art of stamping yet. Well, practise makes perfect and I'm pleased for now. Chillax is a gorgeous, almost neon, teal. It's one of my favourites from Picture Polish. The pictures aren't completely colour accurate though. My camera doesn't like teal and likes to make them look more blue than green. Chillax is a green leaning teal and not a blue leaning one. I'll post a review of Chillax soon and I'll try to make the pictures more colour accurate.
