Glam Polish Timeless to Me

Hi darlings!

I took the weekend off from the blog and went skiing for the first time in seven years! It was so much fun. Today I'm back with  Glam Polish Timeless to Me from the  new collection Hairspray.

Timeless to Me is a ruby red holo with peach and pink glassflecks. It's gorgeous! It appears a little more pink in some lightings than it actually is because of the glassflecks, but they add lots of shimmer and depth to an already beautiful polish.
This is so sexy and it really is timeless. I love reds and I love red holos even more. Add a little extra sparkle and I'm head over heels. This is a favourite of mine from the collection.

The formula is impeccable. It's thin but not runny and the coverage is great. I only needed to thin coats tog et full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becmoes sparkly and shiny. The holo isn't affect by TC.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish TImeless to Me and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat. The base coat I've used is Pretty Serious Rock On.

Celestial Cosmetics Oberon

Hi sweeties!

Today I'd like to show you Celestial Cosmetics Oberon that I got as a birthday gift. I'm in this lovely Birthday Polish Facebook group with 23 other girls. We're a really close-knit group and I love them all.

Oberon is a lime green with a beautiful holographic effect. This is perfect for spring. It's so pretty.
I haven't worn lime green in months now and I've almost forgot how much I love the colour.
This one is bright and absolutely gorgeous. It really brightens up the cold, dark winter days. I love wearing bright colours and neons on day when the winter almost feels unbearable and I can't wait for it to be over. It's so energizing to wear a happy colour like this one.

The formula was amazing. It's creamy and super easy to apply. Two coats gave full coverage. It dries quickly and the finish becomes shiny and super holographic. The holo isn't dulled by top coat.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Celestial Cosmetics Oberon and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat. The base coat I've used is Pretty Serious Rock On.

Colors by Llarowe Temptation

Hi guys!
Today I have another polish to show you from the New Year, New CbL Collection. This one is called Temptation.

Temptation is a deep red with pink and purple undertones, almost a magenta. It has a beautiful holographic effect and some golden shimmer. It's absolutely, breathtakingly stunning! Leah Ann truly hot out of the park with this one. It's so deep and the golden shimmer makes it glow. I love the colour! I couldn't stop staring at my nails when I wore this.

The formula is good. Two coats gave full coverage. You'll probably need three of your nails are a long. I try to keep mine short these days due to the cold weather. My nails have suffered this winter and are a little bit brittle. No major breakage yet, and I'd like to avoid it from happening.
Anyway, the finish becomes shiny and the holo isn't affected by TC.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of Colors by Llarowe Temptaion and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Cost.

Sea Shell Mani

Born Pretty Store Shell Studs were sent to me for my honest review.

Hello!
Today I have a quick nail art to show you. I had to do another dry brush mani after I did one the other day. I've completeley forgot how fun they are to do. I did a dry brush gradient with a few CbL's and thought it was a great time to show you some sea shell nail studs I got from Born Pretty Store to review.

I used the dry brush technique to do the gradient. You swipe off most of the polish from the brush and applies the minimal amount that is left on to your nail. You repeat this until the wanted coverage is reached. I had to reapeat it three times with ach colour. The polishes I've used are Color's by Llarowe Refresh...ing!, Colors by Llarowe Young Turks and Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime. The top coats used are Pretty Serious Crystal Coat and Pretty Serious Aqua Coat.

I added the sea shells stud for some extra sparkle. They were super easy to apply with a tweezer. they're fairly flat so they did work alright on my very curved nails. They did stick out a little on the edges, but two thick coats of top coat helped to smooth it out.
I really like te sea shells, they're beautiful, but they do work better for nails that aren't as curved as mine. They can also be reused as long as you're careful when taking them off.

Glam Polish New Girl in Town

Hi guys!
Today I'll show you Glam Polish New Girl in Town from the new collection Hairspray.

New Girl in Town is a coral pink holo with tiny pink, silver and peach flakes. It's gorgeous! It makes me  long for spring.
What I really like with Glam Polish is that the holos usually aren't just holos. There's some flakes or glitter (or both) added that make the polish look amazing in every lighting. The flakes in New Girl in Town add depth and make it so much more interesting.

I saw Hairspray back in 2007 or 2008 and I have no memory of it whatsoever. But then again, I'm no fan of musicals. So I can't relate the polishes in this collection to the movie.

The pictures are taken in direct sunlight.

The formula is amazing. It's so creamy and goes on like butter. It's almost a one coater, but I needed two coats for full coverage. I do paint very tiny coats, so if you're one of those persons who paint thicker coats you'll probably get away with just one coat. The holo isn't affected by top coat and the finish becomes very shiny even without any TC.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of New Girl in Town and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Dry Brush Mani

 Hi sweeties!

I did a dry brush mani today. They're so fun and simple to do. You basically remove almost all of the polish from the brush and apply the small amount of colour that's left on the brush to chosen parts of you nails. You then repeat this with different colours. You may have to repeat this a few times to reach full coverage and avoid VNL. The best is to use highly pigmented colours (one coaters), but colours where you have to apply the polish on the same spot twice, or more, often blend seamlessly and make the finished manicure look smoother.

For this mani I only used holographic polishes from Colors by Llarowe. The ones I've used are Young Turks, Seahawks Lime, Gemini Rising, My Own Private Paradise, Refresh...ing! and Love You Forever.

Colors by Llarowe You've Been Served

Hi darlings!

Today I'll show you Colors by Llarowe You've Been Served! from the new collection called New Year, New CbL Collection.

You've Been Served! is a raspberry red holo. It's the same type of velvet-y holo as in The Mighty Red Baron. You've Been Served! is lighter in its color, so you definitely need both.
This polish is so gorgeous and sexy. I love the velvet-y finish it has, I find it really unique.
Colors by Llarowe has also changed their bottle logo. The old one was cute but I love this one. It's simple and pretty! It looks so much more sophisticated.

The formula was great! Two coats gave full coverage. The finish becomes semi-matte when finish so top coat is needed if you want a shiny finish. The holo effect isn't dulled by top coat.

What you see in the pictures are two coats of You've Been Served! and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Glam Polish You Can't Stop the Beat

Hi!
You might remember that I got a lot of Glams last week and now it's time to show you the first one from the haul. This is Glam Polish You Can't  Stop the Beat.

You Can't Stop the Beat is a cherry red holo packed wit golden glitter. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the orange glow the golden glitters give. I really love this.
My pictures don't do the polish justice. I wish the weather could be better so I can photograph in direct sunlight but it has been snowing for days now. Well, that's Swedish winter for you. These pictures will do for now, but I'll show you this polish again. That's how gorgeous it is.

The formula is really good. Two coats gave full coverage. Even though there's a lot of glitter in it the finish becomes quite smooth. I only needed one coat of top coat to make it shiny and completely smooth.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Glam Polish You Can't Stop the Beat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
