Cupcake Polish The Olympics Collection: Swatches & Review
Hi guys!
I know I promised you these swatches to be up last week but life got in the way.
This is Cupcake Polish The Olympics Collection that was made for the Summer Olympics 2016. So yeah, I'm a bit late with this review. It's a six piece holo collection. I loved the names in this collection they are so clever!
They're all creme holos and they apply beautifully.
Let's take a look.
Row me to the Gold
Row me to the Gold is a golden yellow holo. It's pretty and bright. It's just that I don't like it on myself. I think it's nice in the bottle but when on my nails it just isn't that exciting. This is two coats and top coat.
Pool it Together
Pool it Together is an ocean blue holo. I really like this. The colour is so vibrant and bright. Two coats and top coat.
Not My Vault
Not My Vault is a muted orange. It's not as briht and vibrant as the others and has yellow undertone to it. It's nice but this is the one I like the least in the collection. It's not as vibrant or orange as I'd like it to be. Two coats and top coat.
I'm a Soccer for Green
I'm a Soccer for Green is a bright lime green holo. This my favourite. It's bright, fun and a perfect summer green. I love it. Two coats and top coat.
One in a Brazil-ion
One in a Brazil-ion is a strwberry red holo. This is beautiful. It's that perfect colour between red and pink. Two coats and top coat.
Track Me Down
Track Me Down is a black holo. It's super pretty. As most back holos this leans a little on the charcoal side of black. Two coats and top coat.

Saran Wrap Nail Art
Hi!
I'm so behind on my swatching. I do have a few collections to show you and the regular swatches. I just haven't had the time. I've been crammed with work so I haven't really had the time it takes to swatch. But I'm getting back on track.
I promise you I'l show you a Cupcake polish Collection this week.
Anyway. In waiting for that review I've got a little piece of nail art to sow you today. I've used one of my favourite techniques, the Saran Wrap technique. I wanted to create a sort of marble-like look.
The colours I've used are OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Lady in Black, OPI Cement the Deal and KBShimmer Dust in the Bottle, for a little extra sparkle.

Femme Fatale Birth of Venus Collection: My Picks
Hi there!
Today I have Femme Fatale's latest collection to how you. It's called Birth of Venus. It contains nine different colours. There are holos, shimmers, gitters and even a thermal. All of them weren't my cup of tea, but I bought five of them. Those five are the ones I'll show you today.
This collection is inspired by Botticelli's iconic painting that the collection is named after.
This is a lovely fall collection. The colours are really gorgeous and there's something for everyone in there. The formula of them all were great. I remember when Femme Fatale just had started and the formula of all f the glitters were horrible, thick like glue, and goopy. They've really stepped up their games since then.
All pictures are taken in artificial lighting.
Breath of Zephyros
Breath of Zephyros is a silvery grey holo with prismatic golden glitter and lavender shimmer. This is so pretty. I love how th glitter accentuates the base. This is a polish that's both super glamourous and sort of subtle. I love it.
Two coats and top coat.
Arrival of Venus
Arrival of Venus is a warm, burnt orange holo. This is a perfect fall colour. It reminds me of the leaves changing colours in the autumn. The holo is really strong and gives the polish more depth.
Two coats and top coat.
Upon Seafoam
Upon Seafoam is a seafoam green with micro silver flakes and pink shimmer. This is so gergoues. It looks really luxurious on the nail. These type of turquoise colours sometimes make my hands look red but the pink shimmer prevents that from happening.
Three coats and top coat.
Isle of Cythera
Isle of Cythera is a grey tinted, forest green holo with golden shimmer. It's dark, vampy and elegant. I think this will be one of my go-to polishes this fall.
Two coats and top coat.
Swept Across the Sea
Swept Across the Sea is a orange to teal thermal with strong green shimmer. The word that came to mind when i wore this is cool. I have nothing in my collection that resembles this. It's unique. This is my favourite from the collection. I like it in both it's warm state, orange, and in it's cool state, teal. The shimmer is very pretty and adds more depth.
Three coats and top coat.

Hare Polish A Positive
Hi sweeties!
Let's take a look at an old favourite, Hare Polish A Positive. I'm not sure what happened to Hare Polish, but it seems like they aren't for sale anymore. I know that Nikole, the creator had om health issues, but since I've been out of the polish loop I can't give more info than that.
Anyway, A Postivie is a a magenta pink jelly with hex glitter in different sizes. It's absolutely gorgeous. I think this is my favourite from Hare Polish. I love the depth of it. The jelly base is just transluscent enough to let the glitters of the first coat peek through and really create layers of glitter.
I actually bought my self a back up bottle in a blog sale a while ago.
The formula is good. It's a bit thick but in no way difficult to apply. Three coats give full coverage. The finish becomes a bit texture because of the large amount of glitter but top coat makes it smooth.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Hare Polish A Positive and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Bear Pawlish Mulbearry Lane
Hello!
Anyone ele that has started to long For fall? I'm in that inbetween Summer and Fall mood. You know, when you don't want Summer to end but really loking forward to Fall. Ys, It's still warm outside but I want fall colours on my nails right now, hence I wore Bear Pawih Mulbearry Lane today.
Mulbearry Lane is a deep purple-ish, wine red holo. The holographic effect is super strong and the colour is realy sexy. I love the colour. It looks more purpe in some lights and in others it looks more win red. A gorgeous fall colour.
The formula is great. It's very pigmented but doesn't stain. The finish becomes shiny and smooth. This is two coats and top coat.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Bear Pawlih Mulbearry Lane and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish Shoe Polish
Hi sweethearts!
Today I'll show you a group custom for a Smitten Polish FB-group. As you may know Smitten is now caled Dreamland Lacquer.
Shoe Polish is a white scattered holo with opalescent flakies and pink shimmer. It's absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of snow, winter and ice. It's so beautiful. I'm actually a bit sad that you can't get a hold of this one anymore cause I'd like aback up of it. That's how much I like it. The pink shimmer was super hard for my camera to capture. It's more prominent in real life and in indirect sunlight. These pictures are taken in artificial lighting.
The formula was good. It was a bit thick, but in no way difficult to apply. The first two coats were a bit patchy but a third leveled the finish out. The finish becomes slightly textured so top coat i needed for a smooth finish. This is three coats and top coat.
what you see in the pictures are three coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
