I think the Winter Nail Art Challenge is so much fun. I don't have much time to do nail art right now so most of the things I'll do are quite simple. Today's challenge is Christmas Candies.
I love sweets and I especially love Christmas sweets. Candy canes are a favourite of mine so I decided to do a red and white candy cane mani. No, it's not very unique but the result is pretty and it's so easy to do.
I used OPI Alpine Snow as the base. When the base was competely dry I used striping tape and made the red stripes. For them I used OPI What's Your Ponit-settia? and China Glaze Ring in the Red. I wasn't quick enough when removing the striping tape so the stripes aren't perfect but I still like the result. I've got to start using striping tape a lot more. I used to use it all the time but some how I've forgot about it unil now.
