Too Fancy Bejeweled

Well, hello there! I've visited family for the past few days and there really has been no time to blog. Now I'm back home. I have polishes to swatch and a blog to write, so I'm back on track again. I just wanted to pop in here and give you a post. It's Blue Monday after all. This post is all blue and all about Too Fancy Bejeweled.

Bejeweled is a blue-with-a-drop-of-teal polish with a lovely linear holographic effect. Its absolutely stunning, isn't it? This is so lovely. I  love to wear these types of blues. They are so pretty to look at, even though they  bring out the paleness of my skin. But I mean, really, who cares as long as the polish is this stunning? I don't.
The pictures are taken in artificial light and you'll get a bonus pic taken in direct sunlight (yes, I'm so pale my hands look like they belong to a corpse).

The formula is amazing. It applies like butter, in other words, creamy, self leveling and smooth. Utterly flawless. Two coats gave full coverage but one could've easily sufficed. The polish dires quickly and the finish becomes shiny.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Too Fancy Bejeweled and one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

LilypadLacquer Frogs Alive

Hello!
It's Green Wednesday today, and of course I want to join in. Today I have LilypadLacquer Frogs Alive to show you.

Frogs Alive is a lime green,  bordering to neon, holographic polish. The holo effect in my bottle is a bit subtle, but it's gorgeous and adds depth to the lovely green colour. As you probably already know by now LilypadLacquer has the tendency to differ a bit in the holo effect between different batches. I've seen pictures Frogs Alive with a super strong linear holo effect, but as you can see, my bottle of it has a very subtle holo. I love the polish though. It's been a lemming of mine for a while and now I finally got it. I don't care that isn't super holo, it's still stunning!

The sun was out yesterday, so you'll get a couple of bonus pictures taken in sunlight instead of the regular lamp light I usually photograph under.

The formula is good. The polish is a bit sheer and very jelly-ish. On the first coat I thought I'd need at least four coats to reach full coverage. The polished reached full coverage after three coats though. it dried quikly and shiny.
What you see in the pictures are three coats of Lilypadlacquer Frogs Alive and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Smitten Polish What Sorcery Is This?

Hi guys!
Today I have Smitten Polish to show you. It was long time ago since I showed you Smitten now. It's one of my favourite brands and it definitely needs to get some more attention here. So today I'm showing you Smitten Polish What Sorcery Is This? It was released for Halloween, but I haven't come around to wear it until now.

What Sorcery is This? is a vibrant purple holographic polish. The colour is amazing and I love the holo. Noelie really does know how to make stunning holos. I can't wait to snag her new St. Patrick's Day polishes. Back to this though. If you like purple and if you like holo BUY THIS! I know, I sound like and add, but really, this is amazing. I might have a new Smitten holo favourite. I'm just smitten with Smitten.

The formula is good. It's very jelly-like and sheer, so I needed three coats for the polish to cover my nubbins. If you have longer nails you might want to go for a fourth coat. I don't mind a little VNL, so that the polish's sheer doesn't really bother me. It dries a little slowly, probably because of the jelly-like properties, even with fast drying top coat slapped on.

Emily de Molly Maddy's Magenta

Hello darlings!
I know, I know, I promised you to start blog everyday again after my internship was done but it's a promise I've failed to keep. The course I'm reading right now at uni is law and I really haven't had the time to blog. I will try to get the time to do it, because I do love it, but right now my life is hectic. But I do have a post for you today. This is Emily de Molly Maddy's Magenta.

Maddy's Magenta is a magenta pink holographic polish. It's lovely, satured, holographic and everything else I love about polish. The holo effect is strong and linear and the colour is so vibrant. Another amazing creation by Emily de Molly. I wore this polish for three days. That's a long time being me and when I had to take it off for my usual 'Swatch Sunday' it hadn't shipped and still looked perfect.

The formula was lovely. It's easy to apply and two coats gave full coverage. It dries very quickly and to a super shiny finish.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Emily de Molly Maddy's Magenta and one coat of Seche Vite.

Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight

Hello lovelies! I have a day off today so I'll swatch polish all afternoon. I have a few posts in store for you today as well. We'll start off with Enchanted Polih Afternoon Delight.

Afternoon Delight is a nude holographic polish with an interesting blue shimmer. It's beautiful and the shimmer adds depth and makes it something extra. A little more fun than your normal nude holo.
The first hour I wore this I just wanted to take it off, but since Enchanted Polish is one of my favourite brands I decided to give it a chance and wear it for 24 hours. I did, and I actually love it now. It's a good nude on me even though I didn't think that at first and I like the subtle holo. I will definitely wear this again. I can't wait to wear this in full sun light. The sky is all gray here again. I'd love some sun! The pictures are taken in artificial light.

The formula is impeccable as always when it comes to Enchanted. The application was flawless. It's a one coater, but I used to coats to give it some extra depth. It dries quickly and shiny. The holo effect is not affected by top coat.
What you see in the pictures are two coats of Enchanted Polish Afternoon Delight and one coat of Seche Vite.

Colors by Llarowe Bless Your Wicked Little Heart

I think all of you know about my love affair with Colors by Llarowe. It's one of my favourite brands and today I have another beauty to show you, Colors by Llarowe Bless Your Wicked Little Heart.

Bless Your Wicked Little Heart is a deep red jelly packed with red shimmer that looks like it shifts to gold. I'm actually not sure it is shimmer, it might me microglitter as well. It's not super sparkly but it has some more sparkle to it than 'normal' shimmer. It's gorgeous and the depth of the polish is incredible.
The polish was released for Valentine's Day and I think it's perfect for it. It's deep, sexy and a total vamp.

The formula was good. Application was flawless. Three thin coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. The finish became shiny and smooth.

Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron

Well, hello there! I've been super busy the last week with school work (uni is wearing me out) but now everything seem to be back to normal. I have time to blog again, yay!
Today I have a polish from a brand I haven't tried before. This is Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron.

Mintberry Macaron is a minty jelly with playful pastel glitter in different shapes and sizes. I love the little star glitter. It's so cute. The polish is very child-like and playful.
Mintberry Macaron is a limited edition though. it was part of the February What's In-die Box that had the theme Bakery Delights. This polish definitely reminds me of macarons. I bake them now and then and the last time I did mintgreen vanilla macarons. They are yummy! The only issue I have with this polish though is that it's so sweet and it screams baby doll. I'm far from that with my Dr Martens and band T-shirt. Right now I don't feel like wearing these super spring-like polishes. Not quite yet. I still want to dwell in dark holos, glitters and shimmers. I'll probably love this polish in the end of March when I really, really start to long for spring.

The formula is good. The polish is easy to apply and the glitter spreads quite evenly on the nail. Three coats gave sufficient coverage but there was still some VNL, which I think is to expect with these type of polishes. It dried quickly though for being a jelly and the finish becomes shiny. It's the first time I try Prettypots Polish and I'm more than pleased!
What you see in the pictures are three thin coats of Prettypots Polish Mintberry Macaron and one coat of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.

Femme Fatale World of Shadows

Femme Fatale World of Shadows was sent to me for review purposes.

Back in December I got the chance to review four polishes for Femme Fatale Cosmetics. The lighting back then was crap and it's still not good, Sweden in the winter. Now the sun stays up to at around 5 PM and the light is a bit brighter. Finally my camera can handle this polish. What I got in store for you today is Femme Fatale World of Shadows.

World of Shadows is an emerald green jelly packed with green, blue and white glitters in different shpes and sizes. It's one of my favourite Femme Fatale's. It's so pretty I actually got the full size botte of this. It's right up my street and I love how the white glitters peek through the dark, green base.

The formula was good. Application was a bit tricky since it's so packed with glitter but nothing a little patience can't handle. Three coats gave full coverage and it dried quickly. The finish becomes shiny but rough because of the glitter so top coat is a must!

What you see in the pictures are three coats of Femme Fatale World of Shadows, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and two coats of Pretty Serious Crystal Coat.
